Not What I Envisioned

It does not clean or dry. It take 5 hours on a normal cycle. I just think--how much water and electricity is wasted. I put it on quick cycle, and nothing is cleaned. The two drawer is a waste. So many plastics cannot be washed. At this point, it doesn't drain well and neither the detergent well nor the rinse liquid well pop open. We are just waiting to replace this.

Ahh luxury at its finest

I love the shape, the style and the ability this unit has to completely clean my pots and pans without a whole lot of effort. I love that it fits in perfectly with the style of my home. I love that I can set it and go about doing other stuff that needs my attention. I absolutely love this dishwasher. Noise Level There is virtually no noise when this unit is running. I absolutely love that feature the best. Cleaning Time It takes virtually no time to clean my pots and pans before the cycle is completely done. Loading Flexibility The inside holding basket is perfect. It can fit a ton on dishes and all sized pans and still have room on top for the smaller stuff. I like the added extra storage this unit has, especially during the holidays. Performance Outstanding performance. I am in owe of this dishwasher. Design I love the overall styling of this unit. It fits perfectly with my personal style, and the style of my home. Durability Very durable and has withstood many uses in the short time I have owned this unit.

Worst dishwasher ever

1

Doesn't clean. Even with pre-cleaning several items come out dirty. Normal dinner plates don't fit; they scrape the top when you open or close. The top drawer began leaking badly after less than a year. Soon it was dumping 1/4 C of water on the floor every time I opened it. Decided it's not worth fixing and plan to replace this expensive disaster. Loading Flexibility Not clear where bowls are supposed to go. I end up stacking them against a cup. Performance Just doesn't clean well at all. What worse can you say about a dishwasher? Durability Started leaking badly a little over a year after it was installed.

Love Love Love

I love this dishwasher. I had it in my previous house and it was the first purchase for our new house. I love the draw design which allows me to run two separate loads at a time Noise Level this dishwasher is very quiet, you can barely hear it running. Cleaning Time The cleaning times on this dishwasher are longer then most. You can change the settings for how long you want. You can also program it to be delayed, start in 2 hours etc. Loading Flexibility There are many different ways that you can arrange things in the machine and with the ability to do half of a load at a time is really beneficial. Performance This dishwasher really does get your dishes clean. As in any other dishwasher the cleaner you keep the strainer/filter the cleaner your dishes will be. Design I love the design of it being draws in stead of being a full dishwasher. The hook up can be a little tricky because it is like hooking up two separate dishwashers. Durability This dishwasher withstands my sons abuse, which says a lot. It is hard to keep the stainless on the front smudge free but when it is cleaned looks great.

The biggest waste of money you will ever make

Basically, it doesn't clean the dishes. Nor can you get a normal size plate in without chipping it. If you want to wash 4 saucers and 4 glasses, fine. Otherwise, don't even bother using it. It's a nice looking piece of kitchen furniture, otherwise the worst (and most expensive) dishwasher I've ever had.

Perfect for smaller families

4

This dishwasher is perfect for smaller families because it gives you the option of running half loads. When I fill up one drawer I can run a load. It's frustrating to have to wait to fill the entire dishwasher before you run it, this way when I'm done with a meal I run it. The other frustration is going to load the dishwasher and the dishes inside are clean. With this dishwasher you can have 1 drawer clean (waiting to be put away) and one drawer with dirty dishes. I do find you lose just a little bit of loading capacity with the two drawer design though. I find the design to work for my family's needs especially the option of running a half load daily.

convenient and quiet!

We love this dishwasher so much, it is one of the best things we bought when we updated our kitchen. It is so quiet, you barely notice that it is running. I love having the options of one or both drawers, it is very convenient. You can keep one drawer for clean items and the other for dirty items. My only complaint is the button that is very low, low enough for a small crawling baby to reach and turn off and on. I feel like it could be in a more consipcuous area or up higher out of childrens reach.

Cleaner than before!

I remember my old dishwasher. It practically took the old dirty water and flung it right back on my dishes and other stuff. But this dishwasher actually does what it's called. It washes dishes almost as if its a little shop where you send your dishes and it washes them each individually with a wash, rinse, and polish.Amazing

KitchenAid double drawer dishwasher model#KUDD03DTSS

I bought this Kitchen Aid double drawer dishwasher today, a demo. I got it home, it looks fantastic. The style is really nice. It was easy to install. My husband isnt the most handy, and it was installed easily, he seemed to like that the wiring was on the side and not underneath, like our JENN-AIR that we replaced! that thing was junk! 2 years and it died. So we went for Kitchen Aid, our fridge is also Kitchen Aid. We opened the dishwasher, started filling it and realized that it was much smaller, but because it has to separate drawers, together they are the same as a basic tub style dishwasher, in size. I like that no gross food particles will end up on my glasses, because I placed all the glassware on the bottom drawer.. and the dirty supper dishes and utensils on the top. We started the dishwasher, filled both drawers, and used a normal wash, pro dry, and the top drawer also had the the highscrub feature on(which we probably didnt need). The dishwasher was quiet, I did hear a click while the cycle was running and later read that it was just the detergent dispenser opening. The decibels is like 50, so thats basically quiet, a basic conversation between two people is at 60 decibels, so its quieter then a normal conversation. I also used the liquid gel i had, from the previous dishwasher I had, and I used a rinse agent. that turbo dry stuff. So while the dishwasher was running, I started reading reviews, because this is a demo I wanted to be aware of problems, I have a 90 day warranty. !! I have never read so many negative reviews on a dishwasher, I was actually getting worried, we just finished doing our floors with beautiful tigerwood flooring, I saw some reviewers say their dishwasher leaked, and they had many problems..(that has to be an install problem). I would hate my dishwasher to leak, and leave me with ruined floors, because I absolutely love my floors. Once the dishes were done, I eagerly went to see if the dishes were ok, clean, and dry, I also looked for 'leaks' .. I was surprised and then compelled to write a quick review, because the first wash on a demo dishwasher, was PERFECT! the dishes/glasses and utensils were literally spotless, and completely dry, there were no problems what-so-ever. I obviously cant pull out the dishwasher to check for leaks.. but I dont see any signs. I am surprised at so many negative reviews, I know its the first time I ran the cycle, but most reviewers said it failed to clean dishes from day one.. I am surprised, because my eyes dont lie, the dishes were spotless on day one.. I am going to give it a week.. and literally inspect everything, just because of all the negative reviews.. I am really hoping of all things that I dont have any leaks.. Most of the reviews are negative. I guess because people with nothing to complain about dont feel the need to spend time on writing reviews, I wrote one because I had a great experience with my new dishwasher.. I hope for me it stays this way.. Wish me luck! Noise Level barely noticable Cleaning Time seemed normal to me. Loading Flexibility I had no problems loading it. I would only say for the first time using the dishwasher, we had to consider how to load the plates. and glasses. Performance my dishes were spotless, completely DRY, and the interior of the tub was also dry, immediately after the cycle stopped. It must really come down to how you load it, and what soap you use, although I used Cascade Gel, and turbo jet dry. And a water softener for some, although we dont have a water softener either. Design Its beautiful Durability I dont know of its durabily yet, I just got it. I hope its durable. its expensive. I also hope it never leaks on us. That would be sad.
