Pros

    all mixer parts are heavy duty, Heavy Duty, easy to clean stand and parts, poweful, stylish/available in a variety of colors

Cons
    the extra attachments are costly

The Artisan Kitchen Aid mixer works so great for making cookies, cakes or whatever.  The mixer can do the complete job of cookie mixing.  It is easy to clean and the black color looks great in our kitchen.  I've owned other Kitchen Aid products so I knew before I bought it that it would be the best choice.  The price was right through Amazon.com
