Pros

    all mixer parts are heavy duty, bowl has handle for easy carrying, great attachments avaliable, Heavy Duty, easy to clean stand and parts, comes with everything you need, poweful, stylish/available in a variety of colors

Cons
    the extra attachments are costly, Doesn't get right to the side

We do a lot of bread making and my arm would tire before getting the last of the flour mixed in, but my kitchen aid doesn't even notice if it is the first cup or the last cup.  It also makes incredibly light and crispy pie crust if you follow the recipe.  I highly recommend this, it is expensive, but well worth it and you will not have to replace, this is not another cheap hand mixer.
