Comments about KitchenAid Architect Series II French Door Refrigerator KFIS25XVBL KFIS25XVWH:
The french door refrigerator with the bottom freezer makes it so easy to get food in and out of the refrigerator. The water and ice dispenser unit is located in the door. It does take up alot of that one door but it is configured to still hold a gallon of milk and a few smaller bottles. You also lose some shelf space in the interior of the refrigerator, but for me it was worth it because I really needed the freezer space. At the touch of a button you can change from ice to water.
One thing I don;t really care for is the ice maker is balky when it distributes the ice. So if you are not careful the ice will shoot right out of the galss and onto the floor. But it does make a lot of ice. I have yet to run out of ice when entertaining a group of 20.
Very sleek and stylish looking with curved long handles that are very comfortable to grab. You can open and shut either door first due to a flap that releases which is very nice. I got the stainless steel finish and it has held up really well. Easy to clean and fingerprints wife off easily with a soft cloth. Highly recommend.
