not very handy
Our old GE dishwasher finally broke down last November. We could never turn it on if we wanted to watch tv because of the noise. We shopped around for a new dishwasher comparing several models. The salesman at Lowe's was very knowledgeable about the different dishwashers he for sale. I originally wanted the Bosch but my wife insisted on the Kitchenaid because the Kitchenaid's racks are 21" across vs. the Bosch at only 19".

Practical, Mr. Fix-it
I did a lot of research online before setteling on this Kitchen Aid model. It had the best overall reviews within our price range. — We purchased from Home Depot. They honored their price match plus 10% off guarantee of Sears' advertised price of $509.99. At $458.99 it was a great buy. — It is amazingly quiet.
