I am a fan of this mixer. It is quiet for a hand held mixer and it has several speed options so that I can choose how quickly I want to mix. The speed options allow me to be able to get a better consistency when I am mixing. The mixer itself is very easy to clean. I like the options to be able to eject the mixers and that they lock in place while it is running so that I do not accidentally eject them. Mixing Performance The performance of this is great. I like the speed variability because I can choose to do a light mixing for things such as doing gravy, or I can choose to do a heavy mixing for days when I want to make things such as homemade whip cream or icing. It works out best for me because I get to choose more speeds than just slow, medium, and high. Ease of Cleaning This mixer is very easy to clean. It ejects the mixing blades so that they can be cleaned manually and thoroughly. The mixer is easy to wipe down and sanitize. Ease of Use It is so simple to use this and it's user friendly for all ages of cooking. It's easy to turn on and off and the speed variability makes it better for different types of cooking and mixing. Design This mixer is designed in the same manner of most hand held mixers but it seems more durable and it has several speed options. It's easy to clean and wash. Durability I've not had any issues with my mixer. I would recommend being careful and making sure to store it properly. It should last for years.

I got this KitchenAid hand mixer, along with a KitchenAid stand mixer, as bridal shower gifts about ten years ago. I seriously love KitchenAid products to death, and this is no exception. Although the stand mixer is usually out on my countertop and is usually my go-to, I definitely pull out the hand mixer for lighter baking projects. Mixing Performance Excellent quality. I use a stand mixer for heavier doughs, but for lighter batters and cookie doughs, this is easy to use and perfect. If you do a lot of baking, or will be using the mixer for heavier bread doughs and things like that, I would recommend either investing in a KitchenAid stand mixer, or kneading the dough by hand. If you don't bake super often, or only want to mix cookie and cake batters, this hand mixer would probably be great for you. Ease of Cleaning All you do is push a button to pop out the beaters, toss them in the sink, and there you go! Ease of Use Really clear instructions. Durability Not as sturdy as a KitchenAid stand mixer, but still really excellent quality. Seems like it could take a beating.

It is cute, light weight, and can mix up a storm. I love the speed control. If you need to mix one thing quick this mixer is great, not much to clean up. Mixing Performance I usually use my kitchen aid stand mixer to mix meatloaf, but this hand mixer does this very well. It has the spiral hooks which are great. Ease of Cleaning Very easy to clean. Ease of Use This mixer is small but not to small. Very easy to handle.

KitchenAid makes great products! This hand mixer is no exception. The mixer I have comes with two mixers and a whisk attachment. The mixers and whisk attach and detach easily and are dishwasher safe, so clean up is a breeze. The hand mixer speed has a digital readout, and speed is easily adjusted by up and down arrows, with the speed changing by 1 number for each touch of the button. One criticism I have is that the mixer always defaults to the highest speed, and if you don't remember this and change the speed, you will end up with your cake batter or whatever you are mixing everywhere. There is a release button on the top of the mixer to detach the mixers. The wide range of speeds makes this mixer versatile and efficient at mixing a variety of foods. I haven't encountered something I couldn't thoroughly mix with this product. A bonus is that mine came with a nylon bag to store the mixer and its attachments. I love it!

One of the best hand mixers I have used. I used to get the less expensive brand but they normally break and do not work as well. This product works better than the less expensive brands and is definitely worth the extra money. This is great when using it to make smaller batches rather than using the kitchen aid mixer to do the job. It gets the job done quickly just like the mixer but its light weight and easier to use for the smaller jobs. I love using this to mix cakes, eggs, chocolate, and many other things. I often cook and bake many things for family parties and they do not have a mixer available I like that this is portable and not as heavy and the standing mixer so I can transport it from house to house to help prepare meals. I like how it's just the standing mixer but just portable and the power of this product isn't lacking considerably. Also cleaning is really easy.

This is by far the best hand held mixer I have ever used. It is powerful, and thoroughly mixes the ingredients as long as you move it around the bowl (as you must with all hand held mixers).I have had this mixer for at least 5 years and have had no problem with it, no matter what I have mixed. I wish I had bought this one first, I have been through other mixers, none of them held up. This is the only one that I have had that can stand up to mixing cheese balls, which was the death of all my other mixers. Note: I have not tried mixing bread dough with it though, since I use my stand mixer or my hands to do that. Everything else I've tried it on mixed very well. It is fairly lightweight for the power it holds, mostly easy to clean though there are a few places that have little spaces where food can get stuck. I also bought my step daughter one and she loves it. I haven't tried the 9 speed mixer, but I find 7 speeds to be all I've ever needed. Highly recommended.

Love this mixer! only thing is sometimes I cannot tell exactly what speed it is on with the little lights and if you look to close the light can be a little overbearing on the eyes. Love the fact that it returns to first speed when it is turned off. Great feature! Also this is an everyday use mixer, not a professional mixer. Mixing Performance 7 speeds! mixes fantastically! I can whip up whip cream in a pinch now. Only thing is that I tried to mix fondant with this mixer and it had a hard time and I could smell the engine burning up from trying to handle it. However with the amount of fondant I should have used a stand mixer. So this was mostly from bad decision making on my part. The mixer still mixes amazingly too, I just had to give it a rest after the fondant. Ease of Cleaning Easy to clean unless you get dirt into the cracks and you can still clean that out unless you get dirt into the vent in the front. Mixing attachments can go easily into the dishwasher though. Ease of Use Very easy to use! Cord has is a swivel cord so you don't get tangled while mixing something. Also you just press the button once to raise the speed up once. No more turning or sliding notches! Design Love the design! very sleek! Comes in many colors (that's what I like about Kitchenaid) but some colors are exclusive to certain store or sites. The little lights to tell the speed are nice just a little to hard to read what number its at and is a little to bright. Durability I have had mine for 3 months still works beautifully.

I love KitchenAid products, and this little mixer does the job! We received THREE 5-speed mixers for our wedding about two years ago and decided to upgrade to the 7-speed. It operates very quietly (my husband in the next room didn't notice that I was using it at all), it's very easy to clean, and I've never had any issues of it not having enough power. The cord swivels side to side and locks into place, so it is convenient for both right-handed and left-handed folks. Mine came with two beaters and a drink stirrer (which I've not had occasion to use) but there are other attachments that can be purchased separately, like a dough hook if you'd like to use it for kneading. An excellent buy; you can't go wrong with KitchenAid. Mixing Performance I've read reviews saying it doesn't have enough power, but I've not found this to be the case for my use. Design It feels good in the hand. I'd love for there to be some easier way to coil the power cord for storage, but it's not more difficult than expected.
