KitchenAid Stand Mixer - Classic Review

I purchased my kitchen aid mixer about 8 years ago.  Since I have purchased it I have had nothing but good things to say about it.  It is sturdy, beautiful, and extremely easy to operate.  The mixer is heavy but I leave it on my counter so that is not really an issue. 

My mixer came with a whisk, a dough hook and a paddle as well as a pouring shield which makes it easy to add flour etc. while the mixer is running.   Over the years I have added a couple of attachments including the grinder which is wonderful for making chopped meat.  I can buy lean cuts of chicken, turkey or beef and know exactly what is in my chopped meat. 

Cleaning the mixer is a breeze.  I just wipe the body down with a cloth and everything else goes into the dishwasher.

After 8 years of using this product I am still thrilled with it.  So much so, that I just purchased one to give my 12 year old nephew (the budding chef) as a gift.  It is a pricey item, but it will literally "last forever".
