Looking at the back of a shampoo bottle will leave you scratching your head trying to read some of the ingredients. Kiss My Face makes shampoo with less of those ingredients, such as parabens, sulfates and fragrances. Most of the ingredients are natural, which makes you feel better about using it on your head often. It also works great, leaving your hair clean and shiny. The price isn't really all that bad either. Sometimes a natural shampoo can get up there in price, but this is affordable. Probably good to alternate it with another Kiss My Face or natural shampoo, as using something different can be healthy for your hair. Apparently they've added a sulfate to it recently though, which would knock it down a bit in my book. Effectiveness It does what it is meant to do, keep your hair clean and make it look nice, without using too many chemicals on it. Scent It doesn't have a scent that is too strong, its really just right.

I have an "economically friendly" 32 oz size that I am enjoying very much, paired with the Whenever Conditioner that I also recommend. It has Argan oil and MANY other botanicals in the ingredients, such as aloe, sage, lavender, lemongrass, coconut, nettle, green tea, chamomile, eucalyptus, lime, orange, and more. Effectiveness It instantly makes hair squeaky clean-so clean it tangles up fine hair easily, but that's to be expected with fine hair. It is safe on color-treated hair-I gambled with that issue and it has turned out fine. It says its for all hair types, and truly seems to be living up to that claim-guests with many hair types have remarked that they enjoyed using it and ask me where to purchase it. Scent The green tea and lime scent is unique and very refreshing. It is pungent in a good way. There is a great "botanical" sort of scent to it, but reminds me of green lifesaver candy at the same time!

I absolutely LOVE this shampoo. I have purchased it several times and will continue to purchase it. I love that this shampoo has no harsh chemicals. It's easy on my hair yet still cleans it and moisturizes it really well. I have used it with and without the corresponding conditioner and it works well by itself (and with the conditioner). I think the smell is super refreshing and not too strong. It leaves my hair feeling clean and moisturized. I have very dry hair and a dry scalp and this shampoo does wonders to help the dryness. It's also a great shampoo for men. My husband uses it as well and he loves it. It's effective, safe, and smells wonderful. A little goes a long way so I don't have to use too much (and I have very long hair) so that's nice. Thankfully, this shampoo isn't too expensive. It's worth the money. I love that it's for all hair types. The Argon Oil that this shampoo contains feels wonderful in my hair and I'm glad it's been added to this shampoo.

I like to use beauty products that have no animal ingredients or animal testing and Kiss My Face is usually a good source of those. So I bought this shampoo. For most people, I think it would work absolutely fine. Moreover, I still use this sometimes. But the issue I have is that it dries out my hair. I now have a really good conditioner I use so I can use this stuff with my good conditioner but I'm still looking for something less drying. I also think it's worth noting that this shampoo was a big improvement from other things I've tried. It also doesn't have SLS, which I've been led to believe is good. If your hair doesn't tend toward being too dry and easily damaged I would definitely recommend this. Otherwise, I'd recommend either trying something else or getting an extra moisturizing conditioner to go along with it. And don't shampoo your hair every day with this stuff if you have dry hair. That said, it never leaves residue in my hair and unlike some other well-known brands it has never suddenly stopped working for me. Reliable but not extra fancy. Effectiveness My hair was always clean when I used this stuff. Scent There's not much of a scent but what there is is pleasant. Not gross or intense.

If you want a shampoo that's natural and doesn't have any chemicals, then this isn't the shampoo for you. But if you only want a shampoo that's mildly better than any other brand that you can buy at any store, then you might like this shampoo. I have used it in the past; it's not what I use anymore due to the ingredients. But when I didn't care about all the bad ingredients in it, I found it to work very well. Left my hair fluffy, not frizzy, soft, manageable, soft to the touch, and over-all very, very nice looking. Effectiveness Like I said, it's very effective at doing what it's advertised to do. What I couldn't get past were all the bad ingredients in this product. Once I realized that those poisonous ingredients would be absorbed through my skin (scalp) as well as through the skin on my body as it was rinsed out of my hair, I switched to a more friendly brand. Scent Poor because I'm chemically sensitive and it was way too strong for me. However, before I began to experience scent issues, I did find their product to have a nice scent.

The shampoo leaves your hair feeling extremely clean and free! It removes all of the buildup and grime for great feeling hair. While using I never thought it was cleaning my hair but it was. What I was feeling was the lack of buildup it was leaving on my hair.

I really like this shampoo. It doesn't contain SLS or other harmful ingredients. It also works really well. It makes my hair shiny and gives it lots of body. You can get this from iherb or amazon. Its usually cheaper on iherb, sometimes its cheaper on amazon though, depends on shipping though. It doesn't have animal ingredients, no artificial colors, and not tested on animals. I have tried many natural and organic shampoos. I found that they either didn't lather well or did not have pleasant fragrances.Kiss My Face shampoo is gentle, smells great, and doesn't strip the color from my hair. Actually, my hair color lasts about two weeks longer. My hairdress found it hard to believe that a change from Pantene to Kiss My Face would make such a change.The other benefit: it is good for the environment. It is not animal tested. It contains natural ingredients and is gentle. What more can you ask from a shampoo. It does come in other varieties. The one for damaged hair is excellent as are their conditioners. If you wash your hair everyday, the Whenever line (shampoo and conditioner) is the one. I prefer using this over the one for damaged hair because it is a bit gentler. I find their product is mid-priced. It does cost more than Dove, Herbal Essence, etc., and it does not come in large bottles. I believe the 11 oz bottle is its largest.

I have been starting to look to replace a lot of my normal personal care products with ones that contain more natural products, less chemicals, and less fragrence. I started using Kiss My Face products a few years ago and recently decided to try their shampoo. It is definitely different than "normal" shampoo and takes some getting used to. It has a faint lime/citrus scent which was kind of strange at first, but once I got used to it, I didn't mind it. The shampoo comes out kind of thick and gel-like and lathers less than normal shampoo does. It did leave my hair nice and clean, but rather tangled without a good conditioner. It doesn't add any moisture or smoothness to your hair. It is a simple, just get your hair clean kind of shampoo. I do love that it is a more natural product and I don't smell that same "chemical" smell that I've come to notice in a lot of other name brand shampoos. The price is kind of steep on this shampoo.

It has a catchy name like all of their products and the ingredients were something that I found effective. The Kiss My Face Whenever Shampoo is good for all types of hair and it rinses off cleanly and leaves your hair smelling great. The Kiss My Face Whenever Shampoo contains essential oils so it's healthier for your hair and the ingredients contain organic rosemary floral water,chamomile, organic blend of herbs, organic aloe vera, and other natural ingredients. The lemon balm helps make this shampoo smell citrusy and refreshing. The Kiss My Face Whenever Shampoo comes in a nice big size so it will last quite awhile and you really don't need a lot of it since it lathers up really nicely. I would recommend the Kiss My Face Whenever Shampoo if you're looking for a shampoo without any unnecessary chemicals to ruin your hair and scalp and if you're looking for a good all-around shampoo.
