Some years ago when my family decided to stop using Sodium Lauryl Sulfate products and anything that had similar ingredients in it, it was rather difficult to find good toothpastes that tasted good, did not have bad ingredients in them, yet still cleaned well and were Sodium Lauryl Sulfate Free.  Going through the effort to find them, however has been very rewarding.  We have reduced a lot of problems in our family related to SLS by not using products on our bodies with it in it anymore.

We tried several toothpaste brands which we liked for one reason or another, but had some recent difficulties with Jason's Whitening Toothpast Sea Fresh flavor.  There are large stones in the entire tube that that turned us all off of using it for a while until we can call the company to complain about it.

I was placing a vitamin order not too long ago and saw that they were carrying a line of KISS MY FACE toothpastes that supposedly did not have sodium lauryl sulfate in it.  The toothpaste is whitening and it has a cool mint fresh taste.

This toothpaste is certified organic with aloe vera gel in it.

There is 3.4 fl oz in each tube.  The tube is not metal, but plastic which I am not sure I like.  The gel is an icy green clear gel color and it is quite concentrated.

This toothpaste is also supposed to contain olive leaf extract (antifungal), Iceland moss, Tea tree (another great anti fungal) and silica.

HOW DO WE LIKE KISS MY FACE CERTIFIED ORGANIC ALOE VERA WHITENING TOOTHPASTE?

KISS MY FACE WHITENING TOOTHPASTE is nice minty fresh.  The flavor is not sweet at all, although it does have sorbitol in it which I am not a fan of. There is also a rather suspicious variation of SLS in this toothpaste called sodium lauroyl sarcosinate.  I am not sure I totally trust this, as the toothpaste does clean well- on the verge of stripping the mouth like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate does.

My family likes the toothpaste, but no one is CRAZY about it.  We will use it up, but I am not sure I will try it again in the future.  It is low abrasive with natural whiteners, but I am still not sure about the ingredients being as good as they say they are.

The only organic ingredient in this toothpaste is the aloe vera, btw.  Just wanted to point that out.

For almost $4 I am just not sure it is exactly what I want to continue buying yet.  I might see if we can go back to Sea Fresh from Jasons if that problem is taken care of.

We found ours at www.swansonvitamins.com

I am sure you can find it at grocery stores in the natural section or natural foods stores .
