Excellent soap for sensitive skin

Comments about Kirks Kirks Original Castile Soap:

Kirk's Castile Soap is a great soap for anyone with sensitive or dry skin. It doesn't have any of the usual irritating ingredients like dyes or artificial scents. I have used it myself and not had any problems even though I am prone to eczema in the winter. And I also gave it as a gift to someone who has very sensitive skin and is very prone to rashes from irritating ingredients and they really liked it and didn't have any problems with it.

Effectiveness
This is a great gentle soap that still gets you clean without the harsher ingredients found in some cheaper soaps. The only drawback is it does cost quite a bit more than your average bar of Irish Spring or Ivory. But if you have dry skin or sensitive skin, it is worth every penny to avoid itching and breakouts from irritating and overly drying cheap soaps.

Scent
This soap isn't scented, it just smells like soap, there really isn't anything there to linger after you are dry.

They still make castile soap?

Comments about Kirks Kirks Original Castile Soap:

I stopped using Castile soap a long time ago and upgraded to the newer Doves and Levers of the world. But besides Lever, they never seemed to get me quite as clean as the Castile soaps from my childhood. Then I chanced upon a bar of Kirks and decided to give it a shot. This stuff never really disappoints and works just as well as I remember it.

Effectiveness
Kirks lathers up easily, and leaves behind little to no soap scum on my skin. This means that when I towel off there aren't going to be a many dead skin follicles left behind. So it leaves me feeling pretty clean, but it can dry you out if your skin type is already dry so just be sure to use a lotion of necessary.

Scent
It has no scent and that is what I'm moving towards these days. Instead of smelling like a chemicals factory I take comfort in knowing that I just smell of industrial deodorant now lol.

A cheap, and quality product.

Comments about Kirks Kirks Original Castile Soap:

I picked up a bar of Kirks on a whim for a buck or so when I ran out of my normal brand one evening as was in for a pleasant surprise. I left me feeling much more clean than what I was using before, but was really affordable as well. As a result of this I now buy Kirks only and love using it.

Effectiveness
The soap cuts through any of the sweat, grease , or grim that I have on my body for the day. And after use you have a kind of friction on your skin which is nice because I know that this point that I'm clean. I recommend that you moisturize afterward but it is optional.

Scent
It is strange in that it leaves little to no residue on my skin, and has none of the other extra scents that the others do. I use my own cologne, and when using a mainstream so the scents they use can overpower it. This annoys me but Kirks does not have this problem.
