A very Expensive machine, but a Powerful Vac!

a homeowner, picking up after pets, parent of toddlers, parent of three or more

Pros

Removes animal dander and hair, cleans draperies and walls, Easy to use, Hepa Filtration eight layer thickness, Reliable, long lasting

Cons

Expensive but worth it, Heavy but not impossible

The Kirby Sentria vacuum is great, the attachements are great, you have a vacuum, a blower, and a shampooer all in one. It's very pricey, but it should be the only vacuum that you will need to buy. Kirby is supposed to have a service, where they will bring your Kirby back to life (like new), if it breaks on you. Mine hasn't broken yet, so I can't say if that service is true or not. The salesman was good....too good obviously....I bought one! I will be making payments on this thing forever....which makes me sick whenever I think about it, but I guess the saying is true...you get what you pay for. I have a toddler, a newborn, and a husband with horrible allergies and this vacuum helps a lot. So other than the price, there's nothing I can really complain about.

Years and years ago, I sold Kirby's door-to-door! They were good machines then (if I bit too expensive), and probably are now. It might make you even MORE sick if you knew where that money you spent goes and how much a Kirby actually costs to manufacture! :)

I think it's a good idea to get a good vacuum instead of having to buy a new one every year. I did the same. A good one makes a real difference.
