Most HelpfulOur daughter and son-in-law had a queen sized Kingsdown Body System Bed in their apartment in New York City. I tried it for the required 15 minutes since we are in the market for a mattress. Fifteen minutes just isn't enough. They moved to a condo and put the queen in the guest room and bought...

Most HelpfulThey test you on a computerized machine to see which mattress you need. We fell for the gimmick. It is true that you don't have any pressure point pain. However, we both have back issues and this bed seems to exacerbate them. You roll into each other all night long and I guess that puts extra...
review »My wife and I bought our King size Kingsdown almost two years ago. The first year was wonderful, very comfortable. About 18 months after purchase, body impressions began to form along with a 'hump' in the middle. The 'hump' is the only comfort spot left. I feel horrible in the morning, my back hurts and hips ache. Kingsdown claim is they guarantee their product BUT they have a very very stringent policy, to the point of ridiculous. If any of the warranty bullets are compromised, the warranty is void. For example, if you move, make sure you do not get on speck of dirt/stain on it...warranty...
review »Love my Sleep to live mattress by kingsdown.
I did profile green on there pressure test, but instead I went with the blue for more support. i am glad i did because I wanted a firm mattress and the blue feel just right for me and my spouse.
my husband and i went to mattress giant looking for a new mattress to help with our aches and pains. the kingsdown came highly recommended, even the sales woman (also the store manager) had one herself and loved it! we bought it. and it was very comfy. 1 month later we noticed the sagging. i went back to the store and the sales woman who had sold us the mattress insisted this was normal and to just rotate the mattress. so we did...now it sags in more than 2 areas. too late to exchange the mattress i get sent a "special kit" to measure and photograph the areas on the mattress-1 1/2 inches, almost...
review »Just got a kingsdown body system mattress about 5 months ago and i have to say that it was probally my best investment ever. I am waking up in the morning ready for a great day. I have been getting tons of compliments telling me how young and fresh faced i look. and best of all. my husband isn't cranky in the morning when we wake up.
I love my new bed!!!!!
hope it helps
If you are looking for a well built mattress that will last for years, don't buy a Kingsdown. My husband and I purchased a Kingsdown ($2,500) that has a 10-yr warranty. For the first year and a half we slept wonderfully well. But then it started breaking down/sagging down the center. Kingsdown sent us a kit with a claim form, a long string with a washer tied to each end, a depression chart, and a disposable camera. We took pictures which showed the sagging to be one-inch. Please note, a cardboard chart does not sleep on a Kingsdown mattress at night, a 190-lb man and 130-lb woman do. Kingsdown...
review » 2 yrs. ago my husband & I purchased a Kingsdown Platinum model king bed at Sleep America. Within the first month we noticed excessive sagging and body impressions on each side. Also there was a large bump in the middle so it felt like we were sleeping in canyons. The store told us the bed was "learning our bodies". Well, the bed should get a PhD in our bodies because it has continued to sag. We fight to see who can sleep on the hump in the middle because that is the only comfortable place on the bed.
Sleep America has no representitive to inspect the bed to see if it qualifies for a return....
