Kingsdown Body System Mattress —

My wife and I bought our King size Kingsdown almost two years ago.  The first year was wonderful, very comfortable.  About 18 months after purchase, body impressions began to form along with a 'hump' in the middle.  The 'hump' is the only comfort spot left.  I feel horrible in the morning, my back hurts and hips ache.  Kingsdown claim is they guarantee their product BUT they have a very very stringent policy, to the point of ridiculous.  If any of the warranty bullets are compromised, the warranty is void.  For example, if you move, make sure you do not get on speck of dirt/stain on it...warranty voided.  DO NOT remove the tag, warranty voided.  ANY sagging needs more then 2'' sag, this is difficult to determine due to the 'plush' top.  Without any weight, you can not tell.  They will photograph the 'sag' and eyeball it with a ruler, they will NOT put weight on the mattress to determine the crap product they put out.  All in all, comfortable mattress for about a year however, I would save the disgusting amount they charge and treat yourself to a very nice vacation.

Kingsdown is junk!

Everything you said is exactly right! My husband and I fight for the "hump". Like you said, it's the only comfort spot in the bed. I contacted the company about the terrible sagging. They sent a kit that included a disposable camera, paper ruler and 100 reasons they would use to void their warranty. The rep infomed me that they had a committee that met weekly to review claims/complaints and that I must complete the kit within 30 days, or it would not be reviewed. Wow, you're prodcut is so crappy you've had to form a committee? Stay away from this bed. Worst investment, ever!

I am not sure if I really like the mattress after a month and a half, it seems to create a lot of heat, in the middle of the night I wake up drenched with persiration, this never happened with my old Serta mattress. I guess the foam is the cause.

Yup, now I have a permanent 'spot' where my body lays and I hate it. I hate the mattress.

Oh My God..I thought it was just me.I have had pain in my hips. Now it is fierce pain. The sagging in the mattress makes me feel like laying on springs. They exchanged it once. You can not roll over because of the hump in the middle.
