My Tapestry collection King Koil mattress was wonderfull when I first got it. Soft, firm, silky and pillowed. Admittedly It has been with me for 10 years but, now it is an evil taco bed. my husband and I sink in to the center and wake with springs poking through. or sproinging right before we nod off for the night. It has come unravelled at the seams and linty looking on the once silky surface. This is an experiment on actual use in a 10 year period. Now it is no longer springy enough to support us and I need a new one. The stitching has come undone in the center and hangs loose though we flip it every season and it sags awfully after only 10 years. Our weights are normal so we hoped it would at least last 20 before being replaced as it is a not-so-nice chunk of change to buy a decent mattress. I had a Seeley that lasted all through my childhood (25 years) bed trampoline-ing and all that was still useable but too small for the both of us when I finally traded it for this King Koil. I think I will go with that brand again when I do replace my taco-shell bed...soon.
