Don't buy this bed! It's a big waste of time and money. My mother purchased 3 for my 3 youngest children a few years ago. My mother maintained they were good for back support, but in my opinion they were hard and surprisingly cheaply made. First the beds started sabbing on the sides from sitting on the edges of the beds. One bed started to unravel around the stiched edging. Another started sagging deeply in the center and a coil broke through. One bed was replaced under warranty which was an exhausting and tedious process. Within 1 year the children all had brand new Sealy and Serta beds. I will never go back!! Comfort No comfort value added. Only better than sleeping in a chair. Support Not enough padding. If you get stuck with this bed you will need the best neck pillow, and perhaps a body pillow too. Firmness Super firm, just short of laying on a beach blanket on the sand. Durability Experienced unraveling threads, sagging centers, and saging edges and coil spring malfunctions., all within the first year.

the bed lasted only a few months then it happend dips. lots of them. then the lumps. after the lumps clumped up, the bed made a god alfull noise. now i my hunsband and i are not over weight but man i tell you can see were we laid the most there were sink holes bigger then texas. i will never by this brand again if it was the last one earth.

When my husband and I went mattress shopping, I thought we would have a difficult time finding something we both agreed on.  This was in the days before the Sleep Number ever came about and we also did not want to spend a lot of money on a new mattress, although we realized that you really do get what you pay for.  King Koil was great.  The furniture store representative explained to us that with King Koil, you truly get the quality and durability of a name-brand mattrress without the upcharge for the name.  The bed was super firm.  This is what I was looking for since my back had begun aching (and I'm young!)  They said it would hold it's firmness, and we really have not had any sagging yet, and it has been about four years.  Also, the king size is great and truly recommended.  We previously had a queen size, and enjoy the extra room, even if it's only a few inches more.  The mattress itself has held up well as far as fabric, too.

My wife and I purchased the King Koil King Size Mattress shortly before our wedding five years ago.  We had house/dog-sat for friends of ours and fell in love with the mattress almost immediately.  For the first few years the comfort continued and we slept soundly away (at least as much as a young child would let us).  The mattress absorbed our bodies and would spring back to life during the day.  I had never been much of a deep sleeper, but with this mattress, I slept more soundly than I could remember.  Nights were as peaceful as they could be.  However, something started changing at around the three year mark.  The mattress no longer bounced back during the day.  There were peaks and valleys scattered throughout.  This condition worsened to the point where now it's almost a chore to sleep on it.  If we hadn't invested so much money, and a new one wouldn't cost so much, we would be replacing our mattress immediately.  With this style of mattress, we can't really rotate it or flip it to try and get better comfort.  My wife and I are stuck in our depressions for a few more years.

We sadly replaced out twenty + year old Tempurpedic mattress with a top of the line King Koil mattress.  Within six months, it was sagging on both sides.  I admit I am a heavyweight, but, my wife weighed 120 pounds soaking wet.  After a few more months of being uncomfortable and fed up, I contacted King Koil for a replacement under their warranty.  It was easy to see how badly it was sagging and uneven.  After fighting over their terms and conditions, they agreed to replace the mattress.  Now, about one year later, the new mattress is doing the same thing.  Not quite as bad, but, it does sag and cause back pain.  Now, I am going out and buying a new mattress.  I am not sure what brand I will buy, maybe another Tempurpedic or something similar, but never again will I buy a King Koil.  They should be renamed, King Krap.

My King Koil mattress has lasted 10 years, but it is time to get a new one.  I would try this mattress again.  It is comfortable after you get adjusted to the firmness and the cover wore well.   The only drawback is that the ends of the sides (where you sit when you get up in the morning) have worn out quicker than the rest of the mattress. Maybe I just sat on the mattress too long...lol.

I have a King Koil king size mattress with a plush box top.  It's the most amazing bed I have ever had, and I've had many.  Five years ago I had an auto accident which left me disabled.  (I have seven herniated discs in my neck and upper back; nerve damage in my neck, shoulders, and arms, and other stuff).  We bought a sleep number bed which felt like a rock to me (no matter how much I lowered or raised the air).  Then I slept on a "firm" mattress made by Serta.  None of these met my personal needs.  Then I went to a mattress store and the guy told me I needed a soft mattress.  I thought he was crazy, but he was right.  This mattress is absolutely amazing.  It's truly like sleeping on a cloud in heaven.  My kids are always trying to find a reason to come lay on my bed...and one day my brother-in-law laid on it when he used the bathroom in my room, and it was all over.  They had to have one too.

Our King Koil King Mattress is two years and it is completely broken down.  There is a four inch dip on my husband side and a two inch dip on my side.  Representatives from the service center inspected the mattress and they stated that it was definitely defective but due to a small water stain on the side of the mattress, the warranty was void.  It is basically a piece of junk.  Don't ever buy a King Koil!!!

My husband and I bought a King Koil King Size Mattress last January and we haven't had a bad night's sleep since.  The mattriess is so roomy that we don't bump into each other anymore.  It is so comfortable we usually race each other to sleep at night.  The mattress is a bit heavy to turn, but it makes up wonderfully and looks quite magnificent in our master bedroom.  We are both tall and like the height of the mattress as all we have to do is back into it and we're on.  Actually, in my case I have to give little 'hop' but then I'm in heaven.  We bought the set with the memory foam and it keeps its shape. We highly recommend to anyone with back problems.

I own a king sized, King Koil bed and I love it! I think it competes well with the othermore expensive brands of mattresses. I find mine to be very comfortable, and it hasheld up very well, even with two active children jumping on and off of it at any given time.I highly recommend anyone thinking of buying a new mattress in the future, to definatelytry the King Koil brand first.
