We just bought a new bed and had it delivered today. The old one (Comfort Solutions by King Koil, Arlington Plush) got sent away as it had become unusable. As I was filing the paperwork I looked up the old one and was shocked to find out that we had purchased it only five years ago and we have been complaining to each other about this one for over a year! I found myself not looking forward to laying down in this bed at night. Would get up each morning and there were two big divots where each of us lay. Very little recovery during the non occupied times. Within minutes of turning onto my side I feel like I'm bottoming out on something hard. Waking in the middle of the night with my hips hurting. I have noticed the difference when travelling and sleeping in a nice motel bed and realizing that it is not me but this deplorable mattress. Then to confirm that we had this condition after only four years!

This is the worst bed ever. No 1 it is so hot it is worse than a woman with a hot flush! Secondly it is so soft and had zero support. I thought I had hurt my back and have been visiting the chiropractor - we have finally decided that the only thing that's changed in 6 weeks is my bed! DO NOT buy this product!! I also have been waking up stuffed up and full of mucous - I have never had allergies!

I desperately needed a new mattress, but didn't have a fortune to spend on one. I found this King Koil Pillow Top at my local Sleepy's, tested it out, and found it fit my comfort level. As someone who has arthritis in his spine, and deteriorating discs in my neck, I need a mattress that can support me and help me wake up pain free. For a while, the King Koil did this, and I was sleeping better than ever. But almost overnight, this bed went downhill fast. First, the mattress started to sag. That was soon followed by springs creaking, then eventually breaking. After a while, I noticed that the wooden bed frame had broken as well, tearing up into the flimsy underside of the mattress. The mattress is now extremely saggy, lumpy, torn underneath, has broken springs poking through it, wood splintering through the bed frame, and is a nightmare to sleep on. I would steer clear of the King Koil if you're looking for a reliable mattress that will last you more than 2 years.

Best mattress I have slept on. I miss it terribly when sleeping away from home, tried to convince my boyfriend to buy one, still working on it. Firm but comfortable due to the pillow top. I have had this mattress for over 2 years and still feel blessed at night time.

This is the greatest bed I have ever slept on. I have had it for about a week now. Every night is like heaven and every morning I wake feeling so great and refreshed. No longer do I wake up sore or stiff. When I lay on my bed each night, my body sinks in like a nest specially designed for me and my husband to curl up next to each other inside of. Its the greatest sleeping experience I have ever had. I wish I had gotten this mattress sooner. Comfort Its like sleeping on a cloud. My body just sinks in and nestles into the mattress as if the bed was designed for my body. The comfort level is so high, there should be a ten on the scale. Support It forms to my body like it was made to be my cradle. I have full support on my spine and i wake up in the morning with no pain, no stiffness, and i feel ready to take on the day. Firmness It feels light and fluffy underneath me. No hard spots, no springs, all fluff and stuff. I wouldn't say it is firm but its not too fluffy where I feel like I'm being swallowed alive inside of it like a giant bean bag chair might feel. Durability This bed was given to me pre-used for many years and it still looks and feels brand new. I believe this mattress will last for years to come. I look forward to sleeping on this mattress for many years. I don't think I'll ever get tired of this bed.

My King Koil Pillow top mattress felt great at first. I thought I was sleeping on a cloud. Then I started having sleepless nights, tossing and turning. I blamed it on hormones. For the past year I have been waking up in pain. It started with my neck and gradually went to my shoulders. It finally got so bad I was in tears. I have been to the Doctors, and had numerous tests. EMG, Xrays, 2 MRIs, bloodwork like crazy. I finally slept on another bed that was an old hard Sterns & Foster and slept through the night and woke up with no Pain. I am currently waiting for my new mattress to arrive, a Sterns & Foster Ultra Plush and sleeping in the center of my King Koil while I wait, trying not to roll to either side because of the permanent indentations.

My wife and I had been sleeping on a Queen sized mattress I had bought 15 years or so prior to getting this King Koil Pillow Top King sized mattress. I really wish we had stuck with my old bed, but we gave it to my son who has since moved out. It just doesn't have the support that my older mattress had even when it was 15 year old! We've had this mattress for about 4 or 5 years now and we constantly have to rotate the mattress because it sinks where both lie on the mattress. The only two places that are comfortable for me to sleep are on the very edge, or dead center in the middle where the two twin box springs meet in the middle. What's really funny (ironic funny... not humorous at all) is that when we were shopping the comissioned sales man made a point to make sure we saw how the edge of the mattress has extra support whereas most other mattresses fall short and sag on the sides. I have to laugh now... the edge is the only place I can sleep when my wife is in bed. Heh, which is every night! We had bought our mattress based on the suggestion of a friend who bought one and raved about it. In fact, because we visit her across state, she has been giving her bed to us when we stay overnight which we fight her not to do but she insists. I have to say hers is a much more comfortable mattress. Some factors may be that my wife and I are much heavier than she is and it might be a different model mattres perhaps. I don't know, but I do know I wouldn't recommend this mattress to my worst enemy. We're going to do our homework next time and not be wowed by someone else's experience!

This might be the worst mattress ever. We bought it after looking around for a long time, and I loved it for about a month. After the first month, the bed got more and more uncomfortable. Finally after 6 months, I called the company to complain about the bed. The customer service is poor and I have yet to speak to a polite employee from that company. They make you fill out all this paperwork first (which I'm sure is to try to scare you away from getting the mattress replaced). After that, I had to wait a month for someone to call back and they had to send someone to the house to inspect the bed. They were not helpful at all in trying to schedule a convienent time for me and I actually had to take time off of work to do it. Then, I had to wait another month for the results of the inspection. They agreed to replace my bed, but I have to pay a delivery fee which I was very angry about. I already bought the bed and paid to have it delivered once, but now they want me to pay again. Worst bed ever from worst company ever.

Although the King Koil mattresses feel a little bit stiff when I lay on it, I still fall asleep on it, especially when I feel tired. The mattress has springs in it, so sometimes it makes sleeping a little bit uncomfortable. After putting on bed sheets and the bed covers on the mattress, it is much more comfortable for me to sleep on. I have a queen sized bed, so it makes sleeping on it very roomy. I have the bed all to myself, so I normally just sleep towards the edge of the bed instead of in the center, but mainly towards the left side. My bed, however did not come with a bedframe, so I just sleep on the floor with it, which still makes it comfortable for sleeping on, even though I am closer to the floor, but it does not bother me. The color of the mattress is roughly in-between a white color and a light yellow color (due to some discoloration over the years as well as from constantly moving).

I was told that this was a great mattress and I loved it from the first day on. The only problem is now two years later it is starting to sag and it is getting uncomfortable. I plan on turning it the next time that I have someone over who can help me move it. Luckily I am a single person so whenever it starts to sag on one side I just switch to the other side. I can not move the mattress on my own because there are no handles on the sides which is another downside of this mattress. It is very heavy for me to handle. It is very comfortable when it is not sagging. I would recommend it but I do recommend that you switch it around regularly so that it does not sag quickly. I will hang on to it as like I said I am a single person so I can switch from side to side when I need to. If you do get this kind of mattress I would say definately switch it around as the other downfall is you can not flip this over it is a one sided mattress.
