Intense & violent scenes ruin this one - Worst Kids Films

This one is not an awful film. Parts of it are pretty funny.

Note that it is rated PG-13 and that's definitely what the film is. The problem was that this film was marketed as a light and breezy family Christmas time movie that you could take your whole family too. The commercials and trailer...

This movie is great!

I think that if this film was marketed as a "Kid's Film", then yes, there are parts that would be too violent for the average 5 year old to sit through. But it's not. It is considered to be in the "Comedy" genre, with no implication that it was intended for kids. I think the fact that there is no swearing and has a lot of children in it makes it okay for families to watch, but it doesn't change the fact that this is just a comedy. And a pretty good comedy!
