Kindergarten Cop - 1990 —
I think that if this film was marketed as a "Kid's Film", then yes, there are parts that would be too violent for the average 5 year old to sit through. But it's not. It is considered to be in the "Comedy" genre, with no implication that it was intended for kids. I think the fact that there is no swearing and has a lot of children in it makes it okay for families to watch, but it doesn't change the fact that this is just a comedy. And a pretty good comedy! I can watch this movie over and over and over again! I think it was grea thinking to put the "terminator" into a role where is looks so out of place, but still finds a way to show a soft side. That, and the kids in the movie are adorable! Definitely one of the flicks that I watch a lot!
