This diet is the biggest lie I have ever encountered.

1

This diet is one the biggest mistakes I have ever made in my entire life. It basically taught me how to make myself anorexic. This "diet" cuts out the necessary nutrition needed to survive and thrive. I wish I had been more educated to know that I was really hurting my body. It depresses me sometimes that I was naive enough to think that I was actually doing something good for myself. The founder of this diet used lies, greed, and mean words to make this diet work. Anyone who did not agree with her found themselves being called names or having terrible things said about them. She lied about her pictures and how much weight she actually lost. I felt betrayed by this woman and when I wanted my money back, I was vehemently denied. I paid a lot of money to this woman to help me lose weight and after finding out all of the lies she told and her greed was exposed, it really overwhelmed me. I thought I had found something real, something that would truly help me lose weight that I have been trying for years to lose. Side Effects Side effects for me included extreme fatigue, thinning hair, and sallow skin. I was essentially starving myself. It was bad diet.

Awful low calorie starving yourself diet

1

I remember years ago when Kimkins first came out; I gave it a try as it was heavily promoted on the internet. The calories were extremely low, and I did not last very long. The diet tells you no exercise is necessary, which I think is awful, and feel exercise is essential to keep your body strong and healthy. I was often very tired, and bored from the lack of food choices. It is a knock off of Atkins, but with very few calories. Losing weight quickly was not a problem for me on this diet, but I feel it was due to the low calories, and little carbs. When I realized it was indeed making me tired, and weak, I started adding more food, and as of course gained the weight back. I subscribed to the newsletter, which did have recipes to make your food more exciting, but there was always a push to join the website which cost money. There are different variations of the diet on the website as well as sample menus. I strongly suggest if anyone is considering this diet, to check out the menus and decide if your body can survive with the amount of calories long term.

about my kimkins experience

I been on the Kimkins diet for almost 4 years now. This specialty diet has improved my recovery of ms(multiple sclerosis). Here is my story: I saw an interview on a talk show station about this man who had ms and he started on a plant based diet and a few years later any trace of ms had disappeared from his body and he claimed is was from eating a strict diet that consisted of mainly vegetables. After hearing his story I started the kimkins diet and every couple of months my ms was slowly going away. After four years I am not completely free of ms but thanks to the kimkins diet I have stopped taking my ms medications now and making neurological visits. I am only on natural medications now such as d3 and b12 and l-Argentine. Do not let any doctor or neurologist try to convince you that ms medication is the only treatment for ms, I am living proof that you do not need any type of medication. You may be telling yourself "Oh thats just his type of ms, that dont apply to all forms of ms each one is different." Well friend let me inform you that this works with all types of ms and has been proven by many other people with every type of ms there is. The drug companies do not want the public to know this. kimkins diet works!

Fraud.

This is probably the worst diet you could ever do. First of all, it's not really a diet. It's cutting off calories and nutrients, so you basically starve yourself. Really, it's a scam. The site is paid for, obviously, and the owner is just out to make money. The before and after pictures on the website and on the commercials that are shown are fake people, fabricated by the owner of the website. The miraculous weight loss that they all undergo is fake, all made up. There is no miracle weight loss because there is hardly any weight loss at all. The weight that I did lose was extremely unhealthy, and I nearly ended up in the hospital because I was so malnourished. This is not healthy at all and it's just a big scam to get you out of your money. If you want to buy into it, then go ahead, but from my experience, as well as many other peoples' experiences, it doesn't work and it's not worth it.

Extremely Dangerous, nutrionally bereft, and a fraud!

This diet plan is based on unfounded information, provided by a woman who was/is obese, despite her claims of having lost 198 within 11 months.  The Kimkins plan, founded by Kimmer is proven to be a hoax, a scam and  a fraudulent business.  Kimmer is now involved in a class action lawsuit, initiated by victims of her destructive diet and fraudulant business practices.  Kimmer has no medical or nutritional background and she has not proven that she lost her excessive weight,  and by her own begruding admission, has not been able to sustain any weight loss.  Yet, she has built a substantial business bilking desperate, unsuspecting dieting hopefuls with her lies.   Her diets perpetuates a mentality for eating disorders, with directives for extreme calorie restriction, sometimes as low as 500 calories per day!   Her website is still active, she is still recruiting new dieters and she herself remains morbidly  obese and now claims to be diabetic.  This woman and her diet plan clearly are not poster perfect examples of healthy lifestyle practices.  She should be stopped, and I am hoping brought to justice, by the full extent of the law.

Claims of weightloss revealed to be morbidly obese fraud.

1

Heidi Kimberly Diaz, aka Kimmer, created a website. Kimkins.com, based on the diet she claimed to have created to lose a reported 198 pounds in less than a year and mantaining that loss for 5 years.  Her site showed numerous success stories with before and after pictures, including her own. A hired PI uncovered that Heidi Diaz was not the svelt 118 pounds she claimed to be but a morbidly obese woman who family members claim has never lost weight. Further investigation by concerned citizens revealed that  MANY of her success stories were fabricated, written by Heidi herself, and the pictures taken from online Russian bride sites, including the red dress picture she claimed to be her own after picture. Heidi Diaz has no medical or nutritional training but advises dangerously low calorie consumption and laxative use. Members have reported health issues from following her diet, including:Hair lossPalpitationsNauseaConstipationDizzinessMembers who have stated health concerns, questioned the fraud, spoken out, or posted on other sites have had their paid lifetime memberships cancelled without notice, explanation, or refund. There is currently a class-action lawsuit against Heidi DIaz. There is much more information available about Heidi Diaz/Kimmer and the fraud. Simply search the internet for the lawsuit, the fraud, the fake success stories and pictures, and the tv broadcasts on KTLA, The morning show with Mike and Juliet, and Good Morning America.

This website is a scam and its owner/operator is a liar

Kimkins.com is a pay-for-membership website that dispenses diet advice and support. The diet plan itself is the brainchild of Heidi Diaz, and it's basically a rip off of the Atkins and Stillmans diet plans. Heidi Diaz claimed to have lost 198 pounds and kept if off for five years. Her success and experience were her "credentials", so in reality she has no credentials. In reality, she never lost the weight and admitted it under oath after she was sued for fraud. She also admitted that the image on her home page that was representing her was in fact a photo she misappropriated from the internet, and was not herself. She wrote fake "success stories" and misappropriated additional photos from the internet to represent the before and after photos of the people in her stories. Kimkins is a business that is built on lies and fraud. Heidi Diaz will sell you a "lifetime membership" to her website, but bear in mind that she gets to decide how long your "lifetime" is. She has banned hundreds, perhaps thousands of paying members for various reasons and in some cases, she has fabricated her reason. She has and continues to provide false and misleading information to the various agencies investigating complaints against her business. There are many free of charge websites that provide the same things Heidi Diaz provides. That is to say there are detailed diet plans, recipes, bulletin boards, and journals available to the consumer without paying. If you want to check it out for yourself, go to kimkins.com and read the "Kimkins Debate" page. Before you join do a Google search on Kimkins and read the myriad of blogs that tell you the entire sordid story. But I urge you, save your money and join a legitimate, free site.

Miracle weight loss turns into big fat fraud.

1

Once more the "too good to be true" maxim carries the day. Kimmer aka Heidi Kimberly Diaz preys on desperate women by promising miraculous weight loss - for a fee. P.I. photos reveal her true state of morbid obesity, yet she provided stolen pix of Russian brides as her "proof" that her starvation diet works. Starvation does work - ask anyone how hard that is to understand. But her plan has no maintenance, and no health warnings about severe health effects on the most ardent and committed Kimkins dieters. In short order, most of those who try to increase calories suffer a drastic rebound effect, and end up heavier than ever, but with the added problems of trashed metabolisms, lost hair, bad hearts and/or missing gall bladders. Go elsewhere. There are lots of free sites with great support no matter which plan you choose.
