Kiehl's Straightening Cream works, and doesn't weigh hair down

5

Kiehl's Heat-Protective Silk Straightening Cream works like a charm. I have tried countless products to help straighten my hair -- well OK, not *countless*, but well over a dozen over the years! Kiehl's is the only one I've found that doesn't have a down side. The price is a potential down side, but then again the price is comparable to all the other products I tried that I didn't really like. Many straightening products contain silicone, which I found sort of greasy, and it weighed hair down. Sure, the silicone helped the hair get straight, but I also want it to look clean and nice! Other products don't really work, and some are even oddly drying, or maybe they just didn't protect hair well enough from the ravages of the blow dryer and flat iron. Anyway, Kiehl's straightening cream doesn't have silicone. It goes on light, doesn't weigh the hair down, and it *works*, as in, the hair gets straight, stays straight, and doesn't frizz. It has a light, natural, barely discernable scent. Worth the money, if you are struggling with curly or frizzy locks and want them to be silky smooth!
