The site encompasses interesting guide to online games and reviews, entertainment and celebrity gossips, sports news and even social networking amongst kids their age. The site was founded in 1999 in Vancouver and built using Ruby on Rails. It's one of the largest Ruby on Rails projects ever built. The site has since grown and is constantly ranked as one of the most trafficked sites for content for young kids. The site hires a bunch of full-time editors to cover all of the news and contribute relevant content for today's young kids.
