I had 2 of these during peak baby food production. They are extremely durable. I've had mine for more than four years, and they still have lots of flexibility without noticeable wear or cracking of the containers or lids. The portion size was perfect, the silicone mold released easily, and the lid stays on well. As long as they were reasonably level in the freezer, we didn't have any problems with leaks. Now I use them for storing so much more! They work as organizers when my kid is doing art projects, they make fun little igloo-shaped gelatin treats, and we freeze lots of non-baby related things. The size is great for storing leftover stock, mashed bananas for quick snacks, small amounts of tomato paste, virtually any kitchen leftover. Because the servings are larger than standard ice cube trays, I find them a much more practical solution to freeze usable portions. These were definitely a great investment that has outlasted the baby food stage.

When our child was getting ready to start trying solid foods, I knew I wanted all of his vegetables and fruit purees to be homemade. Anyone that makes homemade babyfood can tell you it can be labor intensive when you're preparing a large quantity at once, and having a storage system like the Beaba Food Storage Containers makes things so much easier! The portion sizes are perfect, because you can fill it less when you're child is very young or fill it to the top when they're old enough to have that large of a serving size. When you're ready to use some of your homemade food, it's as easy as pushing on the bottom of the silicone and the food pops right out. As for cleanup, these trays are super easy to wash up and have ready for their next use. The one downside is the trays can be expensive if you want to stock up on a few of them.

My mom bought us three of these trays when my son turned six-months-old. I had always known I was going to make his food, so I was excited to get these (I had been planning on buying cheap ice cube trays with lids!). The Beaba Food Storage trays are much better than ice cube trays! The thing that matters the least is that they are super-cute, but they are! I love the colors and the design. When I first opened the package, I was a little confused about how I was supposed to get the food out, but they are made of this cool materials that allows you to push the bottom of ONE of the compartments through, so you just get one little cube of food for baby - perfect! The serving sizes are a little big right now for my little one, so I only fill them halfway full, but they'll be very handy when he's older. All I do is pop one of those food trays out and let it thaw a few hours and we're ready to eat! I have three trays, and I'm already thinking I'd like to have a couple more...hmmm..Grandma? :)

I have three of these storage containers (in pink, orange and green).  They work extremely well.  I make my own babyfood and freeze them in these containers.  These containers aren't cheap.  To avoid buying a lot of them, I freeze what I make one day and then pop them out into ziploc bags.  This process works well and keeps the babyfood frozen in the correct amounts.  It also enables me to make more food for the containers.  I often spend a weekend making several batches of food so it is important to freeze large quantities.  Even if you don't remove the frozen food until you want to use it, it is very simple to remove one serving at a time.   I have not had any issues with food stains.  I do try to put orange foods in the orange container, etc., but so far I don't think it has mattered.  I have even made beets and blueberries with no issue.  These storage containers are really cute and I love the colors.  I am pleased that they are both cute and functional.
