As far as controlling my eight year old daughter's cough recently, Kids-Eeze did seem to work for her and help in that respect. However, she complained about the taste of this medication every time she took it - she said they left a coating on her tongue and frantically tried to wipe it off with a napkin and then drank some water each time she had to take them. Seeing the "Tastes great" claim on the box, she told me they were lying. I personally had complaints with trying to get the "chews" out of the packaging each time for her - very tricky and wouldn't want to leave them with my mother and her arthritic fingers to open for my daughter. Geesh! What a challenge! With all the choices on the market for controlling coughs in children, I guarentee that I will not be picking up the children's Cough and Cold medications from Kids-eeze! It's not worth it if my kids complain every time they have to take an OTC medication.
