I find it hard to believe anyone doesn't like this ride on toy. I have bought two of them and they both worked great and my kids loved them! I got this one and the little mermaid style years ago. My oldest absolutely loved this toy and it got a lot of use. I would say they are fairly safe because none of my kids tipped it over or got hurt playing with it. I got them for my girls when they were starting to pull themselves up on things to stand. They loved climbing on and hitting the buttons. The taller handle on the back allows them to hold on and walk with it for support. It has a plastic wheelie bar on the back so it won't tip over all the way if they put a lot of weight on the handle. It plays music and the characters on the front move and the kids loved that. I defiantly recommend this because it helps kids who can't walk yet to strengthen their muscles and it also helps them to move around on their feet. The price is fair and it's super durable. Now that my kids are all 4 and up they don't need this anymore but we still have the older mermaid one and my kids ride it down the little hill on the lawn and still won't allow me to toss it. Its beat up and the batteries are dead but it still is intact and my kids think it's great to ride it.

My fifteen month old loved this ride-on. Not only are the colors bright so it catches his attention, but there are plenty of other objects he can use on it to. My son likes to go on walks and ride his toy. Definitely not the type of toy you can push so I just let him go at his own pace. The other nice thing is the tall bar on the back of the toy allows the child to be able to stand and walk. My son pushed this thing around for months. Now that he's grown out of it I passed it on to my nephew. The toy easily caught his attention and he learned how to use it pretty fast to. In no time he was standing up using the bar to balance and in less than a week he was walking with it. He has just as much fun as my son did. I think the price of the toy is fair for what your getting of the toy. The toy alone is a tool to help your child learn to walk. It also expands their minds by adding other objects that they can twist and turn.

This toy was given to my daughter at 7 months old. She started using it at first to pull herself up, as she got older she used it as a walking toy, she started walking at 10.5 months and then started using it as a ride on toy, she loves the little music "show" that is played in the front of the ride on.

My DD received this toy for Christmas, and by February, it had completely stopped working. The lights and moving parts on the front of the car were the first to go, then everything else as well. Changed batteries twice to be sure .As another reviewer said, there's no power button so once it stops working, you're out of luck! Cheaply made - there's no reason it should have stopped working like that .

My daugther (now 22 months) received this toy at Christmas. She was enjoying getting on it and riding around and pressing the buttons. She's had the toy for less than two months, and already, it doesn't work. I've changed to batteries - still doesn't work. There isn't a power button, so there's nothing else to do to get the sound back. What a piece of garbage and waste of money!

My 3 1/2 year old and 2 year old are having the time of their life with this little car!  It plays all sorts of cute songs, sings them too, and has all sorts of features that allows for child/toy interaction.  It's very sturdy, doesn't tip over easily and the handle on the back provides estability and support. The downside? LOUD!  I wish it had some volume control mechanism

I received this toy as a gift for my daughter but the batteries in it had to be replaced immediately.  They were wearing off and the audio was going off by itself.  It scared the life out of me at 3 in the morning when I walked into the kitchen for something to drink.  "Would you like to go to the farm with us"  really loud went off on it's own and I nearly jumped out of my skin.  It is a cute toy though and my daughter loves to press on the buttons.
