Kibbles and Bits dog food is great. I have three very small dogs and I like to change their food up every now and then. This is a dog food that I always end up going back to. I love that it is easy of my dogs stomachs and causes no illness after eating it. Some dog foods tends to tear their stomach up, but not this one. I have noticed it actually gives them a good amount of energy. My dogs really enjoy eating this food too, so it must taste good. I have never seen them turn their noses up to it! Another great thing about this food is it does not have a strong smell, so you do not have to worry about it smelling up your house. Overall Kibbles and Bits is a great dog food and I would recommend it to dog owners. Dogs enjoy it, it is healthy, and it is very affordable.

This disgusts me. I can't believe that this "dog food" has so many high ratings. These reviews wouldn't be so great if these people read into the ingredients. Again, this is disgusting. For STARTERS, let's talk about the ingredients. The very third (third!) ingredient of this product is beef and bone meal. We're talking ground up animal tissue and bones, which are "exclusive" of any hair, teeth, hooves, feathers, and other harmful factors... although, along with animal digest (which is also an ingredient in this "food", which is basically just CHEMICALLY broken down "clean and undecomposed" animal tissue), the FDA states that "The animal tissues used shall be exclusive of hair, horns, teeth, hooves and feathers, except in such trace amounts as might occur unavoidably in good factory practice and shall be suitable for animal feed." Yep. Your dog is eating that. Yes, now you see that all the sugars, fats, and wheat in this thing are the least of our problems. Another subject on this topic; the sources of these two ingredients are unknown. That's right. They don't have to say what kind of unhealthy animal your dog is eating. It could be roadkill, or unwanted sickly animals on a farm. We don't know. And if you've noticed little hairs in your Kibbles N Bits dog food, well, I've noticed it too. If you haven't seen it, look it up on Google. (Not to mention, it contains BHA as a preservative! BHA is linked to cancer.) And yes, prior to doing this research, I have fed this to my two dogs, and let me tell you, it was horrible. They both had the same results; patchy spots where they lost fur, their teeth became more sensitive, and they lost energy. THAT is when I researched what I was putting in their bowl. I am ashamed that I fed this to my dogs. And it's not just THIS dog food, by the way. Many other brands are similar. Make sure you always research into your dogs food, and read the ingredients. I feed our little dog another brand of dog food but I give her Kibbles and bits as her treat. She absolutely loves them and I feel it is a better choice for her. They are available in several different flavors but she really seems to go for the one they says roasted beef flavor with spring vegetables and baked apple. Actually it does sound pretty good doesn't it? These make unbelievable inexpensive treats and holiday time these little kibbles can go in one of those clear holiday plastic bag, tie with a cute bow, ( I found a ribbon at the craft store with dog foot prints on it) Makes a great gift for your four legged friends and I guarantee that your friends and neighbor will appreciate that you thought of their pet. Quality of Ingredients The little nuggets are always fresh looking and smell yummy.. I store them in a plastic container with a sealed lid. I think this keeps them fresh longer although I can't say for sure as they don't stay around long enough to get stale. Flavor Selection These little nuggets comes in several choices of flavor. Our little pooch loves them all.

When my husband took a drastic pay cut, I was worried how we would feed not only us, but our four cats and one dog. I was feeding my lab the Purina One Smart Instincts. I liked the fact that it seemed to have more natural ingredients, but was not on the high end of the cost scale. Well it was still pretty expensive so I had to cut even more, but what to - Kibbles -n-Bits was my choice. Although, it does have alot of by-products, it does also contain things that are beneficial to dogs and especially my dog. In addition, she seems to really love the taste. I also like the fact that it not only contains soft pieces but does also have some crunchier pieces as well. That is always a plus in my book. I also like the fact that there are so many types to choose from now, not only original, but homestyle, weight management and american grill. Have not really investigated the others, but knowing that they are out there makes it easier to make a choice. I also like the fact that many times during the year the manufacturer offers coupons. So when a sale is going and I have a coupon, it is a great deal. Of course, I wish I could offer a better quality, but for the price this food is good for my little lady!

I purchased Kibbles N Bits for my dogs because I had a coupon. I poured it into their bowls and they would not touch it. The pieces are soft and chewy and colorful. The food smells fine and looks fine, but my dogs would not eat it. I poured it into their bowl and the next day I went to feed them again and their bowls were still full. I decided to add some table scraps to their bowls and they ate them all and made sure to eat all around the Kibbles N Bits. The food sat in their bowls until it molded. I thought it was a fluke and tried again one other time but they still wouldn't eat it. I don't know why they won't eat it but I have to trust their instincts so I haven't purchased it again. Kibbles N Bits is a good value for the money compared with other name brand foods. Maybe if they had different flavors it would help the dogs be more willing to try it,.

When I first got my dog I was testing out different dry foods and Kibble & Bits was a food that didn't sit well with her. I fed her a cupful of kibble and she devoured it in minutes. She became very gassy and ended up having an accident in the house, which was a first. I decided to give her a cup of this kibble for a week to see if things would change. By day three my dog refused to eat Kibble & Bits. When I would put her bowl down she would just push or flip it over. The food remained untouched for the entire day and I ended up giving her some wet food. I tried once again the next to give her this food and she refused it once again in the morning, but she did end up eating it by the afternoon. An hour after eating this food she threw up the entire meal. After this episode I threw away the remaining food. I can't see myself purchasing Kibbles & Bits Dog Food because it has too many negatives for my dog.

My dogs love this stuff in the American Grill version. They respond well when being trained with it or need coaxing to get exercise. The bits are very cute. To be honest, I like buying this food because it looks cute in pictures that I post online. However, I do not think that the ingredients are that great (I am not an expert, though). There is more ground corn in this than ground meat. For it to be healthier, I think those two ingredients would have to be switched around. Also, this contains corn syrup. It also contains artificial colors, including Red 40, which I try to keep out of my own diet myself. This has not upset my small or large dogs' stomachs and they seem to be doing quite well on it. Quality of Ingredients I don't think this is all that healthy, as there are a lot of additives. I guess this is equivalent to "junk food." Flavor Selection My dogs have tried multiple, but they respond best to the American Grill flavor.

Our dog is a food snob, at least when it comes to kibbles. He will eat anything he can get out of the pantry or the garbage can, but when you put dog food in his bowl he turns his nose up. Our dog was a rescue from our local animal shelter, and they sent us home with a bag of Iams dog food. I was frustrated at first because Ben wouldn't even sniff at his bowl. Even if I put gravy or eggs over the kibble. I had a coupon for Kibbles 'n Bits so I gave it a try. Ben gobbled it up so fast I was concerned that he'd choke on it! It has a softer texture than many dog foods, so maybe that is why my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever loves it so much. It isn't the cheapest brand out there, but by no means is it high priced. It is a good mid grade dog food if you cannot afford things like Blue Buffalo and Taste of the Wild. Quality of Ingredients It does have the traditional amount of fillers, but they do have meat and stock in it as well.

I have tried using this dog food now for three different dogs and I have gotten the same result from all three dogs. They love the kibble but hate the bits. I even had one dog that would take the bits and hide them in a pile behind his kennel because he was afraid he would not get more food until he ate all of it. I have tried it three separate times because I have heard so many good things about this dog food from so many people and I really like what I have read on the package but it has been a disaster all three times. Quality of Ingredients When ever I have looked at the package and read the ingredients I have been very impressed with what I see. The ingredients that are in this dog food are all natural and it doe not seem to be bogged down with additives and junk. It seems to be one of the more natural dog foods out there which is the main reason why I keep trying it. Flavor Selection I am giving a neutral rating on this because like I said all the dogs that I have had that have tried this dog food love the kibbles and hate the bits.

Kibbles & Bits Dog Food is one of my dog's favorites. I had heard that some people did not prefer to feed their dogs Kibbles & Bits, but I do know that there always someone complaining about something. I had received some coupons in the mail and decided that I would see for myself how my dog did with this brand. She loves that it is small and has dry, moist chunks and bits in it. I have had trouble find dog food that she will actually eat instead of just nibbling it. There has been no problems since I have been feeding her Kibbles & Bits Dog Food. As long as she is happy with it I will continue to purchase this dog food. I do recommend you to try it and see for yourself, everyone has their own opinion just as every dog has their own taste. Quality of Ingredients The quality of ingredients seems to be great. High nutrition and vitamins as needed for my dog is exactly what I find in Kibbles & Bits Dog Food.
