Enjoy diverse golf courses and beach

We recently took a trip to Kiawah for the weekend. It is a short 1 1/2 to 2 hour flight from the Northeast or Midwest. It is one of the few places that you can enjoy several of the top 100 golf courses in the US, stay in nice lodging and have access to a wonderful 7 mile beach. We took a number of bike rides along the many bike paths which go forever. You can also ride on the beach when the sand hardens. The food is terrific but expensive as is the golf.
Overall, if you have the money to spend, it is hard to find a better getaway with such a diverse array of possible activities.
