Kia Sedona - 2006 Review Summary
Reviewers have mixed feelings about the
2005 Kia Sedonaminivan. While one person was pleased with the roominess, another said it didn’t have enough room in the back for traveling or hauling large items such as a baby stroller. Problems with the brakes were also reported as well as an air compressor going out while the
Kia Sedona 2005 was still under warranty. It may be a wise choice to consider the revamped
2006 Kia Sedona before jumping in and buying a
Kia Sedona 2005 model.

The Kia Sedona that we own now is our 2nd one. We have found the service that Kia provides and the value that we get from Kia is first rate. Since safety is on the mind of most parents, the Sedona can't be beaten it has the 5 star safety rating from both the government and the insurance industry. For the price the Sedona has many ammenities, 8 speaker cd system, the second row of seats each has a window that you can open, the back row folds into the floor like many higher priced cars and I just love the color. Kia will be servicing my family for years. — …

Wow I am so proud of being a Kia owner....I ahve nothing but good things to say about my mini van. It offers comfort and lots of space. Very sporty and color choices are fabulous! Easy to use control panel and side slide doors are a great asset. Speaking of which the rear side passenger windows go down which is definitely a plus for the kids traveling with you on long or short rides. Rides like a sports vehicle not a mini…

We traded in our GMC Suburban for this minivan when we had our fourth child! That may seem backward, but the gas mileage on the Suburban was killing us and after renting a Sedona for a long trip, we fell in love with it. We decided if we ever got something else it would be this car. So, when the opportunity arose, we bought this. I love almost everything about it. It's easy for my kids to get in and out of, easy for me to buckle the 2 little ones, with a sliding door on each side. I have plenty of room for groceries in the back and I don't feel like I'm…

We've had our Kia Sedona for just over a year and are still in love with it. My husband was very anti-minivan before we got our Kia, but spent the first couple of weeks after we bought it taking all of his guy friends for drives to show off the handling and horse-power of our Sedona. — — My hubby feels good about the kids and I being in it every morning and I love how safe I feel while driving it. Having the side curtain airbags go all the way back to the third row was a huge factor for me, and you can't beat the safety ratings. — — There is plenty…

The Kia Sedona is a great practical car. My 2 year old and 4 year old can get themselves in and out without help due to the low doors, and the baby's carsear fits perfectly into one of the captains chairs. The car is quiet, handles well for a minivan and the teperature controls are excellent. The only problem I have is that when the heat or ac are on full-blast in the back, conversation is almost impossible between the front and the back. It also doesn't absorb that much road noise. But between the cost, the convenience and the ease of use - I think the car is fantastic and I highly…

We travel ALOT. We take a 750 mile trip one way at least 4 times a year. So we need a roomy, comfortable, car preferably one with some gadgets so our kids will have something to do. Our Kia has a dvd player in it and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Not unless we were getting another one with two dvd players. My kids love having the player with the extra wire hookups so they can hook up x-box games and what have you. And it's wonderful to know we're traveling in a car car that has a 5-star rating in safety. I definitely reccommend this…

We had the Kia Rio for about a year when we had our second child. We needed something bigger. So we traded up. We love our Sedona. It is great for the family and for such a big auto it gets great gas mileage. If you are looking for a bigger auto I would recomend the sedona 100%. I love the way the back seats fold down for cargo use. All around a good auto. —…

After numerous problems with an '03 Ford Expedition that the dealership couldn't figure out how to fix, I got a fully loaded '06 Sedona. My main concerns are have the safest possible vehicle and having something big enough to transport pets. The Sedona has the best possible safety ratings, and the stow-and-go third row allows for plenty of space. —…
