Keurig Special Edition Reviews

The Keurig Special Edition is a very nice gift item. We received it for Christmas 2008 and I've used it almost every day. The water container is a nice size and the entire brewer is easy to clean.

The Keurig Special Edition does not come with a filter basket, limiting the amount of coffee used for each cup to the pre-filled KCups. I prefer my coffee on the weak side so if I use a KCup I must add another cup of hot water. That option works fine for me...at least until I get time to order a filter basket. Tea bags also work fine, but not in the basket compartment. There is a needle there that...

The Keurig coffee maker is the best coffee machine I've ever tried.  Ther are some good ones out there but this one by far is my favorite.  Each little individual coffee "pod" makes it easy for each person to have whatever flavor they want instead of making an entire pot of only one flavor.  My personal favorite is the pumpkin spice coffee, although at the moment that may just be because of the season.  You can make your own personal, fresh, hot, flavorful cup of coffee in minutes.  I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves their coffee.

I got my Keurig special Edition Brewing System for Christmas in 2008 and love it. I love coffe but never made it at home prior because I hated the mess of filter, grounds, etc. I make coffee all the time now. The keurig is mess free and filter free.

Keurig has several different models the mid grade level Keurig. It makes your choice of 6 oz, 8 oz, or 10 oz cups of coffee, has removable 48os water reservoir, prograbbable LCD message center, removable drip tray allows for easy cleaning and the use of travel mugs, adjustable Temperature, Auto On/Off, and much more.

The Keurig home brewer is awesome!  No more coffee filters, messy cleaning, coffee grinds, and waiting a lifetime for that perfect cup to brew.  The keurig machine brews a fantastic cup in less than a minute - no cleanup involved, no stress, no waiting... just immediate gratification.  Although you will be spending more in the long run on coffee since you must purchase k-cups, several companies are emergining with reusable k-cups that you can simply put regular coffee grounds in and still brew your cup immediately. 

I don't consider myself a coffee snob, but I do enjoy a good cup of joe.  I did the Gevalia mail order grind your own for years with their 4 cup brewer.  And it was good coffee, but hated the work involved, finding out someone else used the last filter....  Then about three years ago, my office installed a Keurig Small Office system, and I was hooked.  I made that my Christmas present to myself that year (The Special Edition that has the 3 brewing sizes), locked into Green Mountain's auto shipment plan and have never looked back.  The next year I bought another as a gift along with a Green...

Its so easy to use anyone that can press a button can use it. Clean up is as simple as taking the cup out and throwing it away.

I like that I am able to choose 6 oz, 8 oz and 10 oz.  I can make coffee, tea or cocoa.
