Keurig Special Edition makes me love Keurig even more.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I got my first Keurig coffee maker, the basic mini model, about 18 months ago and absolutely loved it. Until I accidentally killed it last week when I burned out the motor by inserting a dented K-cup (long story). I was bummed that I killed my favorite kitchen appliance, but a secretly a bit excited as I had been thinking about upgrading to the Keurig Special Edition Brewing System.

So after clearing away my old Keurig, I picked up the Keurig Special Edition Brewing System at my local Bed, Bath, and Beyond and brought it home. I would have liked to get it in red like my old system, but all they had was the black model and I had to have it that day so I settled on the black one.

I have been drinking coffee since I was 13, and I have never mastered the art of being able to brew just a half a pot of coffee. I always managed to put too much coffee in or not enough, and would end up wasting it in the end. If I brewed a whole pot of coffee, I would waste at least 3/4 of the pot of coffee. When I received my Keurig Brewer as a birthday gift from my husband a year ago, I have to admit I was skeptical, but excited. I was excited to be able to brew just one cup of coffee at a time, and each time I knew it would taste great-no more wasting coffee! Now, to be honest, buying K-cups are a little more expensive than just buying your run of the mill ground coffee. BUT-I am not wasting any coffee when I brew a cup, so therefore I think I am spending the same amount, if not saving money. There is a huge variety of K-cups, so one could never get bored over the same old cup each time. This has got to be the most convenient appliance I have ever had!

Keurig is so easy my husband will make his own coffee...mostly!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I first used a Keurig coffee system at the place where my husband gets his hair cut, which caters to men. The self-serve coffee bar was interesting and fun to use. I am cost-conscious, so I was intrigued by the idea of making only one cup at a time, on demand. I also liked the speed - coffee in only 30 seconds, brewed fresh and steaming hot!

I researched the various one-cup systems and kept seeing rave reviews for the Keurig. I priced them out and found the best deal at Costco, mainly because it included an extra-large supply of the individual servings, or "K-cups." Brought it home, plugged it in, filled the reservoir with water, and read the instructions.

Using the Keurig really is easy. ...

Keurig Special Edition Brewing System is very special, indeed!

Overall

When our KitchenAid JavaStudio Programmable Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe bit the dust, I wasn't surprised. It was used daily for many years. I seriously considered purchasing another KitchenAid coffee makes because our old one worked so well for so long. but after researching and reading reviews about the best coffee makers on the market, I changed my mind and decided to purchase a Keurig Special Edition Brewing System B60, instead. It cost a bit more than I had intended to spend when replacing our coffee maker, but the rave reviews I read convinced me that it would be the best bang for my buck, and I'm so glad I spent the extra money to buy this amazing brewing system!

Keurig is Easy But Has Drawbacks

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

My husband purchased a Keurig Special Edition coffee maker for me as a Christmas present, I loved it at first, but as I used it my joy slowly turned to frustration. The machine takes special K-Cups, only sold by Keurig, and these can be very costly. The hot cocoa K-Cups that I bought were very weak and not what I expected for the cost.

If one K-Cup made a strong cup of coffee the cost per cup wouldn't have been too bad, but I had to use two K-Cups to get the strength of coffee I desired, making the cost per cup way too high! In order to keep the machine, which I really did like, I decided to buy the Keurig adaptor, so I could make my own cups from my own coffee. This worked okay, but n...

With the Keurig we made coffee more than we worked

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

For Christmas this year, the boss at work bought us the Keurig Special Edition Model B60 Gourmet Single Cup.  We fell in love with it.  We were making cup after cup and seriously considering asking our patients if they wanted coffee just so we could use the Keurig. What's so great about the Keurig?  It's a single cup maker so you don't have to worry about making a cup of coffee no one likes and not drinking it all.  Everyone can pick their own individual coffee and even tea and hot chocolate.  The drinks come in individual serving like large creamers you get at a restaurant.  You pop it in the top, put the lid down, it punctures a hole in the selected...

The Keurig Special Edition Brewing System B60 was a recent gift for my parents, who have only a household of two, and drink a limited amount of coffee.  I personally don't like buying the little pre-made coffee grounds/syrups in the cups that are necessary to brew with it-they are not cheap, and the selection is too limited for a coffee-snob like me, but they are basic coffee drinkers and are thrilled with it.  It brews very fast, and tastes very fresh.  It certainly helps you not to waste coffee when you make it, as we often can with regular coffee makers.  Its kind of a good alternative to the mess of a French Press.  You can put less water in to make it stronger if you want, but it doesn't quite taste as good to me as the traditional way of using grounds.  For the average coffee drinker though, this is more than satisfactory.  The cups to brew with come in many flavors and I have seen at least a few different brands of premium coffees available.

Can't live without my Keurig!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

The Keurig B60 Brewing System has spoiled me; I will never go back to using a regular coffee maker again!! I love being able to have a fresh cup of hot coffee anytime; No more waiting for a pot of coffee to brew; Also no mess to clean up--just throw away the used k-cup--no messy grounds to worry about; I absolutely love the variety of coffees available whether it is regular or decaf, flavored or not; Yes, the k-cups are a bit expensive but well worth it!!; There is a basket that you can buy that will let you use regular ground coffee but since I don't like cleaning up coffee grounds, I do not find it useful. ; Not a coffee drinker; Well then k-cups are available in various types of teas and ...

Quick, beautiful, but pricey

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I work for a tech startup and many of us love have fresh coffee. We all have different schedules when we like to have our coffee so brewing a whole pot and having it sit in the kitchen was not ideal, while brewing just one cup is very time consuming, so we decided to try the Keurig brewing system. This system works well if you want fresh coffee and want it quick. It's very easy to use and you are in and out within minutes. The best part about this device is that there is very little cleaning that needs to be done, which is perfect for an office or a lazy person at home. The knock I have against it is that you are limited to the selection of coffee offered in K-Cups which are lot more pricier...

This is the best coffee maker I have ever owned.

It is so convenient, you have a fresh hot cup every time and they have countless varieties of coffee tea and cocoa for the Keurig.

You never have a wasted pot or worry about filters and everyone in the house can have their own custom cup of coffee tea or cocoa.

Very simple to use easy to clean and so much fun for guests when they visit too.

I will never go back to a regular coffe maker.

Keurig even offers a filter that you can insert and use ground coffee so that gives you even more options with choice.

I have had this model for over a year and never had a problem,I love that you can customize temperature and cup size also.

We bought the Keurig Special Edition Brewing System B60 for my mom as a Mother's Day present. Little did we know that we would use it as much as her when we came to visit. The Keurig Special Edition Brewing System B60 is very easy to use and there is virtually no clean up when you are done. The drink goes right into your cup, so there is no transferring from a pot to a cup, lessening the clean up. The Keurig Special Edition Brewing System B60 is more pricey than a tradtional coffee pot, but it was worth the added cost. Mom like chi tea, and you can guy kcups for that, adding to the value in her eyes. This is a greta gift for someone who just drinks the occasional cup. The Keurig Special Edition Brewing System B60 is more than just hype - it's a great investment!

I got my family this Keurig Special Edition Brewing System B60 after getting my mother a similar one for her birthday last year. This is the perfect coffee maker if your family members like different types of coffee. It might seem a bit pricy, I paid around 130.00, but the convienience of being able to make just a cup at a time more tan makes up for it. Companies make the "pods", the little k cups, in a variety of flavors of coffee, tea, and even cocoa, so the little ones will not be left out. All you have to do is make sure you have enough distilled water in the resivor, drop in the k cup, hit the botton and in a few seconds you have your own cup of coffee. To clean just take out the k cup, you can also wipe it with a dry or a little damp paper towel, you can take out the filter on most of the Keurig models to clean it. They are simple perfect coffee makers much faster than a traditional one and have great varieties of flavors. I will never be without one of these.

in love the convenience of one cup of coffee in a flash with very little to clean up afterwards. the coffee pods are a bit expensive, so i got a filter that fits in the machine and uses any ground coffee. now i can get my favorite sumatran and use it with the machine. the only downside that i have found so far is that it doesn't react well with hard water - i am descaling it close to once a month. i have started to invest in jugs of bottled water for the machine, but i wish i didn't have to. however, that is the only downside i can think of. it makes a great cup of coffee, is easy to clean (even the descaling is simple with vinegar and boiling water), fits under the cabinets on the countertop, and is infinitely simple to use, and there is no wasted coffee. i would recommend it to everyone!

love this coffee maker

Overall

i got this keurig special edition brewing system B60 for my office couple of month ago. just the name makes it sound good and fancy. so let me tell you things i think are important about this coffee maker. its single serving, easy to use, quick, will make your coffee taste great, no mess, makes tea, hot chocolate and oatmeal. it brews it very quickly and you wont need those super large and annoying large pots of coffee. its easy to clean up! you will love it!!! i know i do. its a time saver. its a little expensive but it will save you money. gas to go get the coffee and the price of the coffee it self, also the time your wasting. its a little loud and the k --cups are not very cheap. thats all the cons i have about this product. i recommend it to anyone with an office or a house. anyone who drinks lots of coffee or has people coming over for coffee often. i give this product a 4 out of 5

I was hestitant as first about the one cup coffee makers such as Keurig but after staying with my sister for a week and using one I was sold. My husband and I are both coffee lovers and we always had a pot brewing. After using and having this Keurig I would never go back to the coffee pot systems. It's always fresh and I can choose what ever flavor if any I would like to drink at a time. It's great for making tea in also. We use the Lipton flavored tea bags in the Keurig as well. They brew a perfect cup of coffee or tea everytime. I know alot of people are thinking it's expensive but when I don't get the k-cups on sale I just use the filter you can brew with your own coffee in and it saves you money in the end, by leaving no coffee waste at the end of the pot. I would highly recommend this Keurig to anyone that drinks tea or coffee. Just buy the additional filter for your own coffee or tea to go in. You won't be dissappointed in this product.
