I've had this brewer for about 2 months now and love it! I was never one who had to have her morning coffee, but I may become one. I've actually been drinking a lot more coffee now than before I had the Keurig brewer. Before I got it, I used to make a pot, drink a little, and throw the rest out. Now I can have a fresh cup any time I want it and I can have a different kind of coffee with each cup.
I hesitated getting the Keurig brewer because I thought it would be hard to use when entertaining, but the opposite is true. Now if someone wants regular, another wants decaf, and yet another wants a flavored coffee, I can satisfy everyone. In addition, my non-coffee drinking husband can have cocoa or hot tea in an instant, too. (We just use regular tea bags). I've even used my brewer for making hot soup.
Not only would I recommend the Keurig B40 to a friend, I have recommended it to my sister and daughter and they have each purchased one as well. Even though the K-cups may be somewhat expensive, you can cut down on the cost when you purchase them directly from Green Mountain and become part of their Cafe Express Club. They discount the price for each box of 24/25 by $2.00, plus if you purchase 4 boxes at once, you get free shipping. (Also, both you and your "recommendee" get 2 free boxes if you refer them to Green Mountain and they purchase a brewer). The Cafe Express Club is very flexible in how often you have to order from them (up to 12 weeks) and you can change that date any time.
The only down-side I see to this brewer is the fact that the little K-cups are made of plastic and are not good for the environment. I have purchased the "My K-Cup" (I think that's the name of it) for using bags of coffee, but haven't yet used it.
Think I'll go make myself a cup of coffee right now!
