All of Keurig's products make good coffee; fast. The B40 has a water reservoir you need to manually fill which holds approximately 5 coffees worth, has a drip tray, and a small or large cup option. The B40 is loud! It rattles when it's heating, which is upon startup and after dispensing water. In addition, the entire principle of Keurig is not at all environmentally friendly; the cups are non-recyclable (although the company, in it's 17th year of business, claims that a recyclable option is one of their "high priorities." You'd think in 17 years they could develop a solution!) and for those who compost, the prepackaged k-cups are not set up for composting.
However, in addition to prepackaged filters, Keurig also produces a reusable filter called the My-K Cup, which allows conventional ground coffee to be used. The My K-Cup is an environmentally friendly alternative to disposable K-Cups, but it is only compatible with home brewer models, and somewhat eliminates the whole convenience option.
