Keurig B70 Coffee Maker —
I got this Keurig B70 coffee maker for my husband who works swing shifts, but we both love it and the kids love it too (ages 13 and 10) - they make their own hot chocolate with it. It is so convenient to always have a fresh cup of coffee or tea. He can stop home in the middle of the night while working to grab a cup anytime, instead of finding an all-night coffee shop or making it at work. He also drinks it later in the day when I would not want to interfere with my sleep. We used to make a full pot and drink it throughout the day, sometimes a lot would be wasted. Now I can even have a cup of decaf or tea after dinner without any hassle. The machine is definitely worth the price - I got the B70 model because it makes several different sized cups - my husband always drinks from a travel size mug and I didn't want him to have to make 2 cups to fill it. This works great for travel size on the largest cup setting - just be sure to buy a strong coffee because the larger size makes it taste weaker. The k-cups are a little pricey and I did buy the little basket you can fill with your own coffee, but it is messy and kind of defeats the purpose of having the quick cup machine (by the time you fill the basket, etc, you could have made a pot of coffee in a regular coffee pot). But I have found some websites like coffeeforless.com that sell the k-cups by the case (still more than buying the big can of folgers) - but definitely less cost than buying your coffee at a coffee shop though - I think the k-cups work out to around 40 cents a cup. Keep in mind you also have to use bottled water to fill the machine - we use the gallon size jugs of spring water. Love it!
