So here is the deal. I am NOT a crazy, several cups a day coffee drinker. But when I do have a cup, I can't stand when it is bitter, stale, horrible, run of the mill coffee. Getting a good cup of coffee seems like such a crap shoot, even at good restaurants. That is why I like the Keurig. It does not make the most incredible cup of coffee ever, but it is good, if not very good, and very reliable and very easy to make.

I work in a small office with less than 10 people. Some drink tea, some bring in their own coffee from Dunkin Donuts (which I happen to like) and some stop by Starbucks. So making a pot does not make a lot of sense and would take more time and be prettty messy. I have never liked the pre ground drip coffee that office coffee services provide.

So, bottom line, the Keurig is dead simple, and provides a very good cup of coffee. At about 50 cents a cup, (some times 30 cents if you buy from Amazon). I highly recommend this coffee maker.

I do recognize that if you are a true coffee snob, you will not like this machine. If you would stop by our office with a fresh brewed cup of your perfect beans, that would be great.

I tried the My KCup at first and got really bad results. But after I ground my coffee again almost to espresso grind it worked much better.

Cat - great suggestion. I had been skeptical, but now that you have suggested it, I am going to try it. What beans does your husband use, and how fine does he grind the beans?

Great review! Have you tried the "My K-Cup" product? Essentially you fill it with your own freshly ground preferred beans. My husband, who is also a self-proclaimed coffee snob, loves it. Me, I can't tell the difference. :-)
