Overall Keri Shea Butter Body Lotion is a decent lotion. It does have it's pros and cons though. Some cons are that it is very runny, seems to leave your hands and body a little greasy feeling, and does not last long as far as moisturizing goes. Some pros are that it smells really good, is affordable, and does not burn if you have really dry skin. I like this lotion best for my feet since I can put socks on over and it seems to keep the moisture in that way, and since I don't notice if my feet are a little slick with lotion since I keep socks on. Scent Keri Shea Butter lotion smells really good. The shea butter is the main scent in this lotion, with just a touch of normal lotion scent to it. Absorption This lotion does not seem to absorb all that well, it kind of sits on your skin for a while and you have to rub it in for quite some time. Effectiveness If you use enough of it it will make your skin softer and more supple. It helps with dry skin and does not burn if skin is extremely dry or cracked.

I bought this lotion because it was on sale and I'm willing to try new lotions for cheap to see if they are any good. The Keri Shea Butter Body Lotion is a decent lotion. I would have to say that it is a bit overpriced. It smells good and works fairly well. It does make my hands feel oily or greasy for several minutes after I apply it. This lotion does moisturize ok. But it doesn't last long and you have to reapply fairly often. As far as sensitive skin use? My skin didn't have a problem with it, but I'm not sensitive to a whole lot of lotions. The pump works well. And the size is a great size. I think you can buy this in just about any drug store or discount store. Scent It has a nice light scent that doesn't overwhelm. Absorption For a while after I put the lotion on my hands, they are oily like. It makes me feel like my hands are dirty. Effectiveness It's better than not putting any lotion on. It does keep hands moisturized to some degree. It just doesn't absorb well so you have to keep reapplying it to your skin.

I think this Keri Shea Butter Lotion is very overpriced. I don't think it performs any better than lotions such as Suave or Vaseline, actually I think it's worse than Vaseline lotion. The scent is very light and appealing, so if you like something that isn't overwhelming with scent, this would be a good option for you. I also think this product is more suitable for people with severely dry skin, like my husband. It was a little bit too greasy for me and didn't want to absorb in to my skin. But I use lotion to maintain my skin and prevent it from getting dry. My husband has severely dry skin and he will even cover his body with Vaseline, which I hate because it stains the bedding and couches. But this lotion absorbs great in to his skin without leaving behind a greasy feeling. I wouldn't recommend it because there are much better options for the price you will pay for this lotion.

Keri Shea Butter Lotion is so moisturizing. I love the way it feels going on my skin and the way my skin feels after moisturizing. The fragrance makes me feel like I am at a spa. The price is reasonable, too. I've used this product for over thirty years and will continue to use it. I keep a bottle next to my computer, one in my car, and one beside the bed.

I decided to try the Keri Shea Butter lotion, because I had a coupon and it was on sale. In the past I had tried the original Keri lotion and found it to be just ok, a little thick, and slightly greasy. But, because it was almost free, it was winter , and I needed a better moisturizer lotion for my skin, I decided to give it another try. I like the smell of the Shea butter in this lotion, it has a mild scent. The thickness and greasy feeling is still there, but because it's winter and dry, this lotion tends to work better for me. I believe I would not use this lotion in the spring or summer time, or without a coupon and on sale. The cost is way to steep for my budget, the average cost in my area is around 8.00-10.00 for a 15 oz bottle. Scent I like the mild shea butter scent, not overpowering , and it really doesn't linger long as well. Absorption At first this lotion is to heavy and greasy when you apply it, but as it absorbs into your skin, it mellows out evenly. Leaving your skin moisturize and smooth. Effectiveness During the winter months, this is a nice lotion to have on hand, keeps the skin from feeling extra dry and cracking. I believe it works for me.

When I came to live in Colorado I had big problem with my skin, because it is so dry in here I was all itchy. No cream performed better then Keri (with second close Vaseline and Eucerin). I have been a loyal Keri user since I was a child. As a child, I had extremely dry skin and my pediatrician told my mother that Keri lotion would be good for my skin. Now as a mother myself, I use Keri on my own children. The new Shea Butter formula takes the traditional formula up a notch. It seems a little less medicinal and more pleasing and relaxing than the original formula. It's been around for more than 50 years, so you know they know how to combat dry skin. I think it works the best when I apply it right after a bath or shower. It absorbs fairly quickly, but I can still "feel" it on my skin. I like that feeling because it seems like it is really protecting my skin. I also think that it lasts throughout the day unlike some less expensive lotions. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to moisturizers!
