These speakers are okay at best and should only be used if you are looking to replace your factory speakers with something of equal (in some cases lesser) value. When played at about 50% or lower volume these speakers sound pretty decent or at least as good as the factory ones did. The problems occur at volume levels above 50%. This is when you really start to notice the lack of bass output coupled with a "muddy" sound quality. Also, the more you increase the volume, the more the speakers distort and begin sounding like they are mounted in a coffee can. My recommendation is to invest a little more money and get a pair of speakers that can reproduce sound in the way that the artist intended
