Kenmore Washer - HE2T
The washer was doing its job for quite awhile. Occasionaly the wash wouldn't drain completely and I would have to run the spin cylce again. As of now it has been just over 2 years and the product is out of warranty and the central control unit went out? What is that all about. I would have expected at least 5 years before having to change a major component. I would stay clear of this model as I have read similar reviews.

When a house is brand new, you want your appliances to be the same. We follow our gut instinct, and went straight to Sears to purchase a big fridge, with all kinds of commodities. Icecube maker, water dispenser, big frezzer, no frost., and...white. We didn't want to spend more on those stainless steel robots. We liked the fridge, overall, but with time and usage, started discoveribg a few flaws. I love this dishwasher. You do not know it is even on that's how quite it is. You delay the dishwasher just in case someone gets a dish after you gone to bed they can add to the dishwasher.

Didn't use the oven much the first 2 years I owned the range (I lived alone). First time I used the oven (for Thanksgiving) the oven handle came off. Had to have a guest help hold the door panels together while I rescrewed the handle. Same thing happened to the other side a few uses later. Unfortunately it was out of warrantee.
This was not a cheap stove!!
Found out the handle screws were 3/4" too short to hold the handle. The "replacements" were on Sear website (longer than the original screws) - but I should been notified the original handle and screws were a manufactures defect. Because...
