The gas range of my dreams yet very affordable!
a home owner, looking for durability, not a great cook, value conscious

About six weeks ago our seven year old gas range dropped dead. I turned on the oven to pre-heat while I prepared the Pillsbury cinnamon roll dough and when I turned back 10 minutes later to pop the dough into the oven I found it cold as a February day in Michigan inside.

We could have called someone to have it fixed but it was a boring basic range to begin with so we decided to get a new one with a few more features than the dead one.  Knowing the best prices and selection are at Sears we went straight there and within an hour had purchased a brand new Kenmore freestanding gas range...

Over all I like my stove.Settings are easy to understand.The oven is easy to keep clean,but the top is not . It has a self cleanig oven.I do how ever wish the bunner knob where on the top with the other settings,as It is to easy for little fingers to reach.
