Kenmore Washing Machine Model #2962 — 

On the first washer load, the machine leaked water all over the floor.  The water was gushing out of the top center of the rear panel - probably a cracked water valve or incorrectly installed hose or valve.  A call to the Sears store got us a "shouldn't be leaking" response and of course the usual suggestions about leaking hoses, etc.  If you buy this machinel, I suggest you place it somewhere next to a floor drain for its initial shakedown.  Our first Kenmore lasted over 20 years.  This one lasted about 20 minutes.  The Sears store says over a week to replace it.  We demanded our money back and got it.  Not we have to wait for a few days for them to come and get it so we can get a new one in place.  Avoid this Kenmore garbage at all costs!

Not enough information and if brand new probably had some problem with a connection or a complete fluke. I'm betting that it was easily solved or Sears would have replaced it with one with no leaks if given a chance. My mom works at Sears and I know about difficult customers!!
