I am very finicky about the pricing of products and the durability. I have not only purchased this machine once but twice.  The first time I was living in an area that had gas.  I then moved to electric only so I had to purchase a new dryer.  I stuck with this dryer as it is very reliable, easy to use and good looking.  But you should by the pedastal.
