I purchased this Machine (from a major retail store) on December 1st with a 7-10 day delivery Guarantee. They finally called on the 14th to say it would be delivered. On The 14th it was snowing so they cancelled delivery and said they would call back with a new date. On December 30th they finally came to deliver the machine, but there was no electric cord nor a vent for the dryer. (Make sure you order those essential parts when you purchase one) I installed them myself and started using the washer/dryer. Within a week and only after 2 loads, the washer stopped working in midcycle. I checked to see if it was the power, but the dryer was working perfectly. I called the repair person and after many hours on hold and being sent to other 800 numbers, I was finally told someone would be out to look at the machine the following week. In the meantine, with a tub full of wet laundry, I fiddled with the knobs and when I changed the setting to an 8 instead of 12 minute cycle it worked again. On the 12 minute cycle it shuts down, so until someone comes to look at the machine again, I have to do all my laundry on the 8 minute cycle.
That said... this is actually a perfect machine for a small space, or even a larger space. Doing laundry is easy and quicker than if I had two different machines. The dryer runs great and dries my clothes quickly on the first try. I rarely need to add extra time to a dryer cycle. The washer runs great as well (other than the 12 minute cycle glitch) My clothes come out clean and it is obvious that the get circulated well during a wash cycle.
The Machine sits perfectly in the corner of my kitchen. It doesnt take up a lot of room at all and it is easy to access the washer and dryer to transfer clothes from one to the other.
