Kenmore Washer - Oasis HE — 

We purchased our Kenmore HE Oasis Elite Canyon Capacity Washer (and dryer to match) a year and half ago.  I absolutely love(d) it!  It saves on water since we are on a well and have a septic tank.  I've had not one complaint so far.  About two weeks ago I all of a sudden started getting that F1 code when it first started running the water into the machine, at that point I could hit stop and start and it would run thru the cycle.  Well that lasted about a week and then I was continually hitting stop start, well yesterday it completely quit.  Now to back up a little--getting a hold of Sears Repair department is an absolute nightmare.  I hate their call center, you call the local Sears store and you get someone in another country.  This is crazy, then I finally got my appointment set up for today, they give you a choice between 8-12 or 1-5, I took the early appointment since I had errands to run.  Huh!  I waited until 1:30 pm and the service guy finally calls to let me know he just finished his first call and that he has two more to make before he can get to me.  Let's see, I had a morning appointment not afternoon.  Anyway, when all is said and done it will cost 597.00 to fix my washer that I paid 800.00 for.  So instead of 5 stars that I would have given a few weeks ago, I will give one star.  Another thing what happened to Sears standing behind their products.  In our home that we built 17 years ago, I have a push button microwave and oven and they still work, but with all the technology 17 years later I have an 800.00 washer that is broken and will cost almost as much to fix than I could go and buy another. I WILL NOT MAKE ANOTHER MAJOR APPLIANCE PURCHASE AT SEARS, NOR WILL I PURCHASE ANOTHER KENMORE PRODUCT.  AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT I KNOW.
