Kenmore Washer - Oasis HE Review

KENMORE OASIS TOP LOAD WASHER

This is not the "elite"--I originally purchased that piece of garbage and returned it to the store in exchange for just the "oasis" which has the agitator.  The reason for returning the "elite" was because I watched it do a load of socks, and the socks on the outer edge of the tub just sat there and never even got rotated around in the tub.  All this machine did was barely wet the clothes and move them around a little bit.  Plus it was giving me all kinds of ditigal problems and the main computer board had to be changed out almost right away due to constant error codes.  So back to the "oasis."  I wish I could give this piece of junk back to Sears.  Mine is 18 months old and has been nothing but repair after repair because of error codes.  And washing sheets and towels, it just twists them all up so I don't even feel like they are being washed properly.  Incidently, I have a repair man scheduled to come out tomorrow because of you got it-------more errors codes and the stupid thing just sits there and beeps.  The best thing I ever did was purchase the extended warranty.  I wouldn't buy this washer again if it were on sale for $10.00.  And if you need anymore confirmation, just go out on the internet and see all the other complaints from people who own this appliance.  I have yet to read one good review or hear from someone who has not had any trouble.
