Kenmore Washer - Front Load HE5T Review

This is the worst money I have ever spent! I bought the matching pair plus pedistals plus extended warranty.... It was delivered 3 weeks later.... Ok I can live with that. But the next day I had to go out of town for 2 months due to a death in the family.

I get home and try to use the machine.... After 2 days the machine stunk of mildew. I had to run the clean machine cycle 5 times before the smell went away. Then I found my soap in a big gunky clump inside the seal.... So most of the soap was not going into the machine and my clothes were coming out hard as a rock even with fabric softener. Not to mention that it uses so little water that some of the clothes are not even getting wet let alone coming out clean. I even backed my load down to 3 items and they were not coming out clean!!!!

After 2 weeks of using the machine I got an F9 error after the machine added water. The machine shut off with the door locked with water in the drum and my clothes. I could not get my clothes out of the machine. Called Sears (cause I bought the expensive warranty) They transfer me to some other company... NOT SEARS!!!  So I could not get a service appointment for 8 days. The service guy comes out and spends 3 hours on Tech Support cause he doesn't know how to fix the machine.

The guy tells me he needs to order the part.. (doesn't tell me it's getting shipped to me) and schedules another appointment at the end of the week. The night before service calls me to find out if the part arrived.... of course it didn't get to me. So they reschedule for the end of next week.... Still no part. So service checks the order only to find out they never ordered the part. Finally the part arrives and they replace the part... This took over 3 weeks!!!! Sears told me they would refund the money I spent on 3 weeks worth of laundry at the laundry mat.... The laundry mat cost me $120 for 3 weeks and I get a check for $25.00.

Now that it's fixed I run the very 1st load and it's filling with even less water and spinning so slow the clothes barely move in the machine. I washed a load of 4 halloween costumes and they came out dirty and full of sand. I'm going to Sears today with my bag of dirty clothes and blowing a fit!!!!

I have 4 kids.... If this machine can't clean my clothes it's worthless to me!

And don't even get me started on the matching dryer!!!! It's even worse than the washer!!!! This is without a doubt THE WORST purchase I have ever made!!!!!

DON'T BUY THESE IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!
