This washer is noisy, jumps across the room, sounds like a helicopter when in spin cycle and won't stay balanced I'm a guy who does the laundry for our family of 4. My wife wanted a front loader and I went along with it. NEVER AGAIN! While the clothes really do seem a bit cleaner and definitely come out dryer (e.g. take less time to dry), the down side is that it's ripping apart our house! have balanced the washer a number of times, but when it's in the spin cycle, it is horribly noisy. It sounds like a helicopter and is as loud one too! A guy at Home Depot told me about pads that have helped when I put them under each foot. However, I still need to balance it after towels or jean are washed...Additionally, anything on the delicate cycle won't spin out the water unless it is very light. Sweaters won't get spun well unless they go under the normal cycle. There also is not a way to quickly rinse or respin clothes...only full cycles. I'll never buy a front loader from Sears (or for that matter anywhere) again! Do yourself a favor, stick with doing laundry on a rock!
