Kenmore Washer - Front Load HE2 Plus Review

I just love my Kenmore Front Load HE2 Plus washer!  I have had many front load washers over the years and this one meets and beats every need.  My family of four keeps the washer going practically every day and the savings are tremendous.

I use less water, less detergent and fabric softener and the clothes get super clean.  The spin cycles are quiet and efficient.  A normal load takes approximately 40 minutes from start to finish.  Stains are usually blasted away without stain removal sprays (depends on the type of stain).

The only negative thing I can think of is the occasional disappearance of small things between the rubber seal and the drum.  When I come up short on socks that is the first place I look.  Nothing has ever been damaged during this time of hide and seek.

The capacity of the tub allows for frequent washing of large items such as comforters, quilts and mattress pads, all of which I used to take to a laundromat only once or twice a year.  Now they get washed every month.

We had to have the front door (glass portion) replaced by the second year but, have not had one single problem in the next two.  I expect to have this machine for at least 5-6 years longer and will not hesitate to buy another like it.

I have just the plain white color with the pedestal that adds additional storage.  The storage needs to be taller to allow for the bigger sized products (Sam's).  The colors Sears is coming out with for these products are beautiful and fun.  They have added a protection pad to cover the top to keep from scratching the surface of the washer...I need to get one of those.

All in all, I would highly suggest this washer to anyone wanting quality, efficiency and quiet.
