LIving in a hot climate area, ok southern california, it is essential to have a good air conditioner. It is hot basically year round, I kid you not. That is why older folk move to southenr california to retire and enjoy the heat. And while it is enjoyable mostly year round, in the summer, the heat just gets unbearable. A good air conditioner is essential. Also one that is energy efficient. Well this is a very good air conditioner. It is quite, and fairly strong. It is a good price too. This model has a control remote. It has two fan only speeds as well as two cooling speeds. The only thing that is of concern is that I said it was fairly strong. For living near the desert, I feel this is not as strong as it could be. For the value, it is a decent air conditiner, and if i lived somewhere else I would probably give it a good review, so depending on where you live, and the strenght that you need it for, it may work for you, but for me, i simply need something stronger.
