Great microwave
We got this Kenmore Microwave in 2004 and it is now starting to die (almost 7 years later). I'm not sure what the longivity of microwaves are, but I was kind of disappointed that the microwave won't last us 10 years. The cord ont he microwave has developed a short in it, so every once and a while the microwave will die and then we have to jiggle the cord to get it to work again. We haven't treated the microwave in any way that it should be doing this, so we think its just normal wear and tear on the microwave. Before this happened, we were very satsified with the microwave. It has many features on it, a potato button, popcorn button, a way to melt and soften things as well as frozen and fresh veggies....therea re some features on the microwave that we haven't even used yet because we haven't had the need. It has done our family really good, and we will probably buy something similar to replay it when it does die completely.
