Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator Review

I finally had it with my Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator.  I purchased this refrigerator a little over five years ago and I have had nothing but problems.  After only two years, the compressor went out and it happened again 18 months after that.  It was still under warranty, so it was replaced.  I continued having problems it, such as the water line leaking, food freezing in the refrigerator, ice dispenser clogging and a bad door seal.  Well, that was obviously not the end of my troubles.  A few days ago I noticed it stopped working again and when I called to have it serviced, they reminded me it was out of warranty.  Well I just found out I need a new compressor which runs about $1,000.  So, needless to say, it was not worth fixing.  In reading other blogs, mainly on the Sears website, I noticed I am not the only person only getting an average of 5 years on their Kenmore refrigerator.  I was however surprised at the number of positive reviews I see for Kenmore refrigerators on this site, which I highly doubt are truthful.  I would never purchase another Kenmore product due to the troubles I have gone through with this refrigerator.
