Kenmore Sewing Machine Reviews

Over the many years I have been a sewer, I have had the best results with a kenmore sewing machine. I have used them for many prodjects, for making swimming suits for my children; wedding dresses; coats and upolstering the many different articles in a van convergance business I ran. The Kenmore sewing machine could handle it all.

I purchased this machine to quilt.  I have made 20 or so quilt tops and 10-15 full quilts.

It does everything and without any issues.  I have also sewn numerous childrens clothing including hats and purses.  I have used bias tape for rounded edges and this machine is perfect for guiding and holding a good line.  The extra feet are reasonable in price, the black storage bag and foot book are well worth the investment.  My friends who have spent thousands for a machine can not afford to make the items I make, because my machine was less expensive than most of their attachments.  Love my Kenmore!...

          It is a best user friendly machine but at times it give trouble as it leave one or two stitchies if you run machine at high speed. 

My sewing machine is very handy and sit out all of the time.  I do alot sewing curtains for my family.  It is also useful for my crafting.

My Kenmore sewing machine is the model 385.16520000.  I have had it for more than 7 years now and it still performs very well.  I use it to make quilts, home decorations, curtains and drapes,  not to mention mending countless articles of clothing.  I have replaced many zippers with the easy to use zipper foot.  I just love the buttons hole maker.  It is so simple to work with.  Sewing buttons on are a breeze.  The zigzag stitches are remarkable.  I make alot of wall hangings and use that all the time. The many features of this machine made it so simple to choose from the many other models...

I have had this sewing machine since 1973. The only thing I have ever had to do with it is replace the needle and then only one time! It has moved with me to approx. 10 places and is still running. I just was given a new machine so I am passing this Kenmore down to my daughter who  I am sure will use it for amny more years. BTW, the new machine is a kenmore also!

This machine is lightweight and easy to take anywhere you need to take it.  Easy to use and has lots of different stitches.
