I think Kenmore's Self Cleaning Oven's are great. I had my last one for over 15 years and then a thunder storm did something to the electronic part of it. Instead of fixing, I bought another Kenmore oven. I am no Betty Crocker. I like to stick to basic baking and cooking. This oven is perfect for that. It has nice features and functions. The price was excellent compared to others. If you want a basic oven and range this is an excellent option. Capacity This oven is large inside. I have cooked a couple things at the same time. Performance This oven cooks things consistently and evenly. Ease of Cleaning The self cleaning function is awesome. It takes a few hours. The oven door will lock and the temperature will get so high it burns everything off. All I have to do is wipe it down when it is finished. I like to do this when it is nice outside and I can open some doors and windows so no smoke alarms go off. Ease of Use This is very easy to figure out and use. Durability I think Kenmore ovens are very durable. I am on my second which I've had for five years now with no problem at all. Design This is a nice size with good features at a great price.

I really like the Kenmore oven just because it has the self cleaning feature. It has saved me so many hours of scrubbing and elbow grease to just clean itself. Sometimes that caked on food inside the oven will not want to come out, but if you self clean it just burns right up. I do not like the stove top as much because it is electric. This is not a huge problem, but this is why I traded this in for a gas range. The oven part was wonderful, but I just had to have a gas stove. I really like that this range had a drawer underneath where I could easily store my pans that are great for baking and other large pans like a turkey pot. This is a pretty nice stove in white and it is really easy to clean. Food particles and sauce that fall on the top of the stove are really easy to clean off when it cools just by using a little bit of generic cleaner. Capacity The oven is so spacious and can hold a lot. It also can remove one of the racks so you can fit really tall items in such as a very large turkey.

I'm baffled at all the good reviews this oven is receiving. I'm happy others have had great experiences with this since mine was terrible. I've gone through two of these things and barely cooked on them or baked in them before they died. First of all, I purchased the first one of these for around 400.00. I thought wow, great deal. I kept it two weeks before the left front stove top sparked and the knob wouldn't turn it off. We kept trying to get it to turn off and eventually it did after turning the knob a few dozen times. We fortunately was able to return and get another, assuming maybe we got a faulty stove. We kept it for a month before both the top of the stove sparked and wouldn't turn off, and the oven stopped working. A small click would come from the controls for the oven and nothing would get hot. After a bunch of hassle, we got our money back and went with a different brand. I was very disappointed. I really wanted to like this oven and adored it while it worked. I wish I could say I was satisfied. Capacity I give it a high rating for capacity. It was perfect in regards to that! Performance First time, oven worked amazingly well, stove tops messed up on it and wouldn't turn off. The second time both the same stove top and the oven died. Ease of Cleaning Never had to clean it but I imagine it would be the typical process one would use on a self cleaning oven. Ease of Use It was easy to use while it actually worked. Durability I'm very easy on and take care of my electronics and appliances, yet I went through two of these stoves within a few months. Design I adored the design of this stove. It looked great in my kitchen and was sturdy.

We have had our Kenmore oven for a few years now. It has been a sturdy reclaimable product. The oven cooks evenly and promptly. It is roomie inside. I can prepare more than one dish at a time. The top burners are so so. They are different sizes and some cook quicker than others. I think it is geared toward pan sizes but I prefer them all to be larger. They cook better that way. Our family is large and we use larger pans to prepare meals. The self cleaning oven is a blessing. I turn it on over night and wake up to an oven ready to be wiped out and used. The top of the stove wipes clean well also. I have noticed on the sides I have to use an abrasive to get it shiny like new. This stove is durable as a tank. The kids have bumped it, thrown stuff into it, there is not a dent on it anywhere. The design is modern yet retro enough to give you that down home feeling. I will not buy another brand of stove after having this one. It is economical also. Great value for the price. I would have rated it perfect had the burners been the same size. That is the only problem for me. I wish they were all large. That I can even put up with though, the rest of it is so good. Design Burners need all need to be large size.

Making the decision to purchase this Kenmore Self Cleaning Oven was one of the best decisions I have made. I like that all the controls are up on the back of the stove out of reach of children. Having the controls installed there also eliminates the chances of accidentally turning a dial on by brushing against it. The drawer on the bottom of the oven is very spacious and will hold a lot of lids, pots and pans. The drawer slides out very easily and quietly. The self cleaning oven feature is very easy to set. I did not notice any increase in my electrical bill when I used the self cleaning feature. It only took a couple of minutes to wipe out the left over residue when the self cleaning mode was finished. I found the oven area to be very spacious. The oven racks were easy to adjust. They slid in and out very smoothly. The stove top is easy to wipe clean. The burners are spaced nicely apart so when using different sized pots or frying pans, there is no overcrowding.

I've had my Kenmore Self-Cleaning Oven for over 15 years. It has been an outstanding appliance in my kitchen. I had to replace the cooking element of the oven, and it was a very easy process to complete. This is one of the best ovens I've ever used. I would highly recommend this oven to anyone searching for a new appliance for their kitchen. Capacity Capacity is great. The only time I've had an issue with the capacity is when I've been baking a 20+ pound turkey. Otherwise, I'm able to make mulitple dishses in the oven. Performance My oven has been in use for over 15 years. I have only needed to replace an element in the oven. This oven has prepared countless meals, snacks and memories for a family of 5 and is still going strong. Ease of Cleaning I use the self-cleaning feature of the oven approximately every other month. It takes about four hours for the process to cycle. Once the oven is cool enough, I wipe out the interior and the oven is ready to go. It is a great feature to have with an oven that is used to cook many family meals! Ease of Use My Kenmore Self-Cleaning oven is very easy to use. The self-cleaning feature is easy, the stove top is great. I love the broiler feature, as it cooks evenly and allows me to have steak in the middle of winter (in Iowa) when I don't want to go outside and grill on my charcoal grill! Durability I've had my Kenmore Self-Cleaning Oven for over 15 years. I've only had to replace the element in the oven, and it was very easy for me to do. I ordered the replacement, it was shipped to my home, and I was able to replace it in less than 10 minutes.

We just got a Kenmore Self Cleaning Oven. We love it. We always have Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter dinners at the house, so the self cleaning feature comes in handy. I think I use the oven more than ever now, really! It heats evenly, is easy to operate, and I just cannot get over the self cleaning mode! I always did hate cleaning ovens! I like that it is spacious enough to hold multiple pans and cookie sheets which makes it ideal for holiday dinners. I can cook all my desserts much quicker now! The design is pretty basic, but it fits like a glove in my kitchen. So far it performs like a pro! It really surprised me that it did so good for the cost that it was. Usually, if you buy cheap, you get cheap, but this was a great buy! You would not be sorry if you bought this oven! I cannot say too much for the durability because we have not had it that long yet, but so far it does really good. We cook everything in it! The capacity is great and saves a lot of time on cooking dinner, desserts, or whatever you want to cook because you can cook so much at one time.

After my oven caught fire last year, I had to buy a new stove. After shopping around and comparing prices, I decided on the Kenmore Self Cleaning Oven. This has been a great stove so far. I like that the oven heats up quickly. I have gotten lots of use out of the oven. I cook lots of desserts as well as a large meal for the whole family weekly. The oven has always cooked everything to perfection. I like that I can just put the dish in and not have to constantly watch it like with some other ovens I have owned in the past. It always cooks everything thoroughly all the way, I have never had a problem with foods not being done. The thing that I like best about the oven is the self cleaning feature. I can just set it and forget about it. It does all the dirty work for you. All I have to do is wipe it out when the timer goes off and the oven is spotless again. I have owned many different brands and types of ovens in the past but I will say that this has been the best so far. I would definitely purchase this oven again and would recommend it to anyone needing a new oven.

My Kenmore Self Cleaning Oven is my best friend and companion in the kitchen because I love to cook and bake. My husband loves broiled chicken and fish a lot. I am always broiling and baking in my house. The capacity is awesome because anytime I make chicken pies, I can bake like forty pieces at once. The performance is terrific as far as I am concerned. It is quite easy to clean with the exception of some oils that oozes out from fish. Those stains can be so tough that I usually use some strong multi-purpose cleaning fluid to remove it. It is relatively easy to use. Simply use the buttons and it is ready to be used. The design is okay with a see through door and lighting to see what is in the oven. There is a timer also to aid cooking. It is durable and can be expected to last for a very long time. I will recommend this product to different kinds of cooks for all kinds of baking and broiling activities.
